Hey guys.

Being 19, I’m a horny, horny bastard.

Therefore, getting unwanted erections during stretching annoys the shite out of me. I don’t masturbate very often because I believe it lowers your levels of testosterone so it makes it harder to pick up women.

Any ideas on stopping this happening?

Hehe I have the same problem. You just have to wait it out. I’d say let one loose before you stretch but you don’t believe in masturbation.

Quit thinking them dirty thoughts :) Just relax man, don’t get into the mood. Think of it as a workout exercise than “giving you a fatty to please the girls with.”

Stretches never give me a hard-on. If anything, it’s the jelqs. I guess in due time you will just learn how to relax and keep flaccid without being excited. Make sure you do hot wraps before too.. That seems to add to relaxation a bit.

I’ve been 3 months in to PE and erections while stretching has always been a problem. One of my solutions is to switch into my kegels routine once I get too hard. I don’t know if it would benefit everyone else but for me holding one kegel for as long as I can helps me soften up.

I just started PE again and after reading some posts, I too have decided to cut down drastically on masturbation. I just lasted a full week (long time for me) without doing, and surprisingly it didn’t cause any more erections than normal. To be honest I felt less horny after the initial day or two of torture because I guess I just wasn’t thinking about it.

Try lasting 2 months, and do not ejaculate. See what will happen…

What led you to believe that? I’ve never heard of this before.

Is that because of it’s impact on PE gains? Or some other reason, such as the one Zapata mentioned?

Here is a study about the relationship between testosterone levels and ejaculation in men:
A research on the relationship between ejaculation and serum testosterone level in men.

Basically, there were minimal fluctuations in testosterone levels until the 7th day of abstinence. At that point the serum testosterone level peaked at an average of 145.7% of each person’s “normal” level, then decreased back to the normal level shortly thereafter.

On the other hand there are many people that recommend that you abstain from ejaculation for at least a couple/few hours prior to and after performing PE.

Yeah right, as if! Sorry, but after twenty minutes of pushing, pulling, tugging and squeezing you’ve just got to let fly. Maybe I’m just not disciplined enough. ;O)

I too ‘ration’ myself to about once a week, or thereabouts. Try edging, I.e getting close but not actually firing - improves self-control no end and may also have some size benefits I’ve read.

I always thought that testosterone was what caused sperm to be produced. Thus, the more you masturbate, the higher your testosterone constantly is, because your body is constantly producing more of it in order to manufacture new sperm. But I could be wrong.

From what I have been told by more than one urologist and MD specializing in men’s health, current ‘science’ is that a healthy male should ejaculate once a day to keep everything working right. When I questioned this, my urologist, who is supposedly a recognized ‘expert’, or whatever they call doctors who publish, said ‘well at least 5 times per week’.

There is no question that willy isn’t as plump after a nice hot shot, but that probably has more to do with overall horniness than any real loss incurred.

Conclusion: whacking it is fun and good for you, too. No guilt called for.

i have made a conscious decision to try to derive most of my pleasure from the actual sex act rather than fooling my body into thinking that I am actually having sex. It makes it easier to approach women, get their number and have sex with them if you haven’t masturbated for a while, because your biological drive to do so is higher. And you just generally feel better.
