Aneros User Feedback

I’ve not tried the Helix. I have the SGX model.

A good friend of mine learned of the aneros (or High Island ) thro’ a health newsletter published by Dr David Williams called Alternatives - a very informative monthly letter, completely “non sexual” - the doctor recommends the devise for prostate massage and preventing or helping prostitis.

My friend used it and had good results - better urine flow, kidney pains disappeared AND he got great prostate orgasms to boot.

I have also purchased one, very pleasurable but not a real “climax” type orgasm - he tells me I need to practice more. Time will tell, but in the meantime I do think it is helping provide a more healthy prostate.

I definitely agree that prostate health is improved by the Aneros. I’m hoping that regular use will keep it in good order.. Especially since cancer runs in my family. Eat healthy, exercise, and keep the prostate flushed :) TNT86, what model do you have? -Yaog

Yaog,

I have used the Aneros, but I have not had any orgasms like they claim would be experienced. I always have to finish off with masturbation, which feels GREAT while using the Aneros, and my orgasms are very powerful.

Yaog - I have the PS2 and PS New - they were sold as a pair by highisland.com - I cant say I can really tell any difference thus far. Some of the more experienced users who leave messages on High Island or Aneros websites discuss the pros/cons of the various styles - but as of yet I am not an experienced “backdoorsman”.

From what I’ve read, the three different reactions run like the posts in this thread. Some men never feel anything and think it’s a total rip-off. Some find it dramatically improves the traditional orgasm. And some, after months of practice, develop the ability to have prostate orgasms. Personally I think the ability to have prostate orgasms is dependent on the same physiology women need to have vaginal orgasms—primarily strong PC muscle tone and high dopamine. I think that’s part of the reason why it usually takes men months to develop the ability—they are building up the muscle tone.

But that’s just an educated guess, boosted along by some very enthusiastic testimonials about my diet from a handful of Aneros users. Although I am quite certain that the prostate orgasm corresponds to the vaginal orgasm, in case men were wondering about women’s experiences.

I think it's the woman's job to tighten up to fit her man--it's lots easier for us.

I think you’re right about the correspondence of prostate and vaginal orgasms zane.

I agree with you both. Zane, you make a good point about developing the proper muscles required to experience the prostate orgasm. It seems to explain a lot about the time required to develop the technique.

Just my two cents, I heard it was possible to massage the prostate externally, by massaging the spot between testicles and anus.similar effect at all?

CW: it may be off the track but, “If I take my Ginko, I can remember where I put my Viagra.” is friggin *hillarious*!!!

The Aneros is a great addition to your bag of tricks, but because it is relatively hard, it can get irritating if you use it too long or too intensely. Also, there are different sizes and shapes: the original one was too long for me and kinda missed my prostate. I bought the shorter fatter one and it works great for increasing the pressure on your prostate. But, a prostate orgasm is nothing more than a series of spasms induced by repetitive contracting (kegels) and intensified by breath control. You can get the spasms without Aneros, but it makes it more pleasurable. After a while, though, you will want it out. By the way, it isnt any bigger than your finger, so it doesnt enlarge anything.

A good description of vaginal orgasms too. But, you know, vaginal orgasms are pretty fun and lots of men here working hard to give their women those vaginal orgasms. Don’t knock ‘em too much! ;)

I read this many years ago, too. I tried it then with no success. After having success with the Aneros, I thought that maybe I would try it again. Same result. Doesn’t work for me.

Thanks, wantsmore. Every time I consider changing this, I get a comment from someone saying how much they like it. It’s a line delivered by Harrison Ford in the movie “Hollywood Homicide.”
