Am I Over-training

I am currently stretching (with heat pad on unit) for about 30 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes at noon, and 30 minutes at night. Each stretching session is followed with about a 3 minute wet jelq. Between the stretching I am using a Vac-Extender to keep in an extended state.not using it with any real force.

For the stretches, I pull pretty damn hard. I am wondering if this is too much work? No negative PIs to report though.

Negative PIs are the gold standard. If you aren’t doing any damage then you aren’t over working it. I say keep up the good work.


Starting Jan 2009 - 5.9375" EL x 5.5" EG. Jun 2009 - 6" BPEL x 5.5" EG. Nov 2011 - 6.5" BPEL x 5.2" EG

Goal: 7" EL. Girth is fine as it is, but any incidental gains are welcome!

Looks like a lot but if you don´t have negative PI´s just keep doing it.

I’m a newer member here on thunders, but as long as there is no pain and everything feels good I wouldn’t think you are over training.

Have you had any pains or cramps or anything? Any soreness? If not, I’d continue until that happens. If nothing happens good job. It’s a little intense to just start out, especially for that amount of stretches, but it should make some good gains if you don’t have any problems with it. How many days on and days off are you doing? Definitely would need some significant rest time for those stretches.

Goal: BPEL: 7.00" MSEG: 5.5" FL: 4.00"

I think that is a great routine you came up with, as the weeks pass your arms are going to be the only thing over-trained.

Yeah.. Haha. He may have some sort of lock-thingy in his wrists too..

Whenever I do my routine, I have to stop a lot because my hands get cramps lol. Especially when doing Squeezes.

1h and half stretching daily? Without counting pauses between on stretch and the next? When you started this routine?

Seems like my rotator cuff starts to hurt or cramp when I stretch my unit for a long time.

To answer some of the questions that came up:
I have been PEing for about 3 months and doing this routine (more stretches) about 2 weeks.
I take off 1 day each week.
Each stretching session is actually 36 minutes of stretches. Nine 1-minute stretches at straight-up, straight-out, straight-down, and BTC.

Latex gloves have helped a lot with maintaining a grip and I just bought all the supplies needed for a Capt Wench hanger, so that will be next.

I am in Physical Therapy right now for a shoulder injury, maybe it is from all my long manual PE sessions? lol
