As far as I can tell, there’s nothing wrong with my technique. My grip does exactly what it’s supposed to do (traps a lot of blood) and I generally pace myself. But I don’t notice much of a stronger hang afterwards, and I also seem to have trouble maintaining an adequate erection. Does anyone have any tips/suggestions as to how to Jelq most effectively? I’m new to PE, and, inspired by great gainers like YGuy, I’d also like to turn my little dick into something I can be proud of (or at least not be ashamed of). Of course, if my Jelqing technique is off, I worry my efforts will be for naught.

Well first off, how long are your jelqing sessions? What grip do you use? You shouldn’t really “pace” yourself, rushing yourself will only cause serious injury.

Since I just started out, my Jelqing sessions are 10 min long. Also, I tend not to rush when I Jelq, maintaining a steady pace of 3-second strokes.

There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the technique. Maybe you need more jelq strokes.

btw, a few members (including myself) decided to count the jelq strokes instead of timing it. I think that works better, because it’s impossible to be that focused to do three second strokes on a continuous basis to get the 200 target after 10 minutes.

If I’m lucky, it takes me 20 minutes to do 200 strokes, but it’s usually closer to 30 minutes. Count to 200 strokes (10 minutes worth of jelqs) next time and see what the results are.

Of course, your dick will be conditioned to the routine eventually, so gradually increase the number of strokes overtime…I’d say in 25 or 50 stroke increments. Don’t overwork yourself.

If you are jelqing a basically flaccid penis you are wasting your time.

You should feel the penis stretching with every stroke. Trapping blood is one thing, making sure the blood is creating internal pressure above the grip is another.

The best tip I can give you is to keep the erection up even if it means temporarily stopping your jelqing.

If you are using porn, gets some fresh porn or try without. If you aren’t using porn, and you don’t have a live model, try getting some porn. That’s what file sharing is for.

That’s my biggest hurdle when it comes to jelqing. I can’t keep my erection up without focusing on my technique and looking at porn simultaneiously. That’s probably why it takes me a bit longer than normal for me to finish.

It isn’t that I have infrequent erections, but they occur too sporadicially to help me. I have morning wood, but that’s the only guaranteed one I have. Other times, it occurs at random moments of the day.

One day, I hope I’ll have more control over my erections. PE should help me out with this.

Try without porn.

Or try juggling some geese at the same time. When you stop juggling, it’ll be a relief and a lot easier to focus.

I am also new and noticed the same thing that he did not remain at the length he was after the jelqing session, that he went back to his normal flaccid state within 2 minutes. Is this normal? I thought it was supposed to last longer after a session. I myself counted to 200 jelqs. Any comments would be great!

Keeping the erection the right level is the key. I am currently using the Power Jelqer Homemade Power JELQ, it is quite a balancing act keeping the erection the right level. What I do is at the top of every jelq I rub the head and kegal real quick. This keeps the erection right and brings in a little more blood.

I also noticed that he somewhats shrivels after his engorged state ( I must say it does get nicely plump while jelqing, great motivater) I was wondering if this is just cause I’m a newb or if it will always shrivel after a session?

Leth I’m the same. Plumpness last for a short while afterwards but then dissipates. I don’t essentially think that’s good or bad but I could stand corrected on this by one of the vets. I’ve used cock rings afterwards to maintain in and now I’m using a clamp but I guess the one question is does it really matter if it goes back to normal size after jelqing? I’m not getting stressed about it.

Ya I’m not that stressed about it either was just wondering if it was just me or if I was doing the exercises wrong.. Good to see I”m not the only one!
