Am I doing this right

Am I doing this right

So I’ve been stretching and jelqing for about 15 days now, and I’m excited because I didn’t know anything like this was possible until about a month ago. I have seen that many people on these forums have had great results so I was eager to begin.

Here’s my question, after my exercises, I’ve never been sore, never had bruising, and I’ve never felt tired or fatigued. So I’m wondering am I doing this right? I’ve gained about 1/4 inch in girth but I feel like this measurement could fluctuate a little depending on exactly how hard I am. I try to be consistent and it does look a little bigger so who knows. I haven’t gained at all in length which is where I was hoping to see the real change. Any thoughts on how long it takes to see a difference?

Should I be tired and should there be bruising after a good workout? Does anyone have any techniques that they’ve found works for improved length? How hard should I squeeze during jelqing? Is the exercise wasted if I have to stop every 5 minutes so that I can get an erection again?

Sorry for all the questions and thanks to all who answer. I have found this forum to be filled with useful and encouraging people.very few trolls.

Are you are talking about jelqing and that you have to stop every 5 min to regain erection? If so - you only need half erection to do a proper jelq. They should in fact not be done 100% erect. :)

(I hope you don’t stop gaining after I say this)

PE is a long term commitment. Don’t expect results on such a short notice. It took some people 6 months to start gaining. You should be happy with your 1/4 inch girth gain, which is quite impressive for such a short period of time.

Bruising or fatigue are not a prerequisite of gains. To get an idea which are the negative and which are the positive indicators in PE see this thread.

You should simply do the Newbie routine and possibly put more focus on stretching instead of jelqing and/or jelq at a lower level of erection.

Your grip should be light to moderate (enough to trap blood during the stroke). I see no reason why a pause in your routine would have any negative effects on the effectiveness of the exercise.

Thanks so much for the responses! It’s not that I’m unhappy with the results, in fact I am quite pleased so far. I just wanted to make sure that I have the proper technique down. I have heard that a 75-90% erection is optimal for jelqing, so sometimes I’ve had to stop to maintain this level of hardness. If a 50% erection is just as good then I shouldn’t have to stop at all. I am encouraged by all of your remarks and will stick with my current routine.

If I don’t have enough time to devote to a full session should I just skip that day, or should I just do a shortened session?

How long does it take for the average person to gain 3/4 - 1 inch in length? I’m not in a rush and I understand that PE is a lifestyle change and should be maintained over time, I was just wondering how long it took? I am keeping a log so that I can follow my success. I Googled jelqing and found a video where a man claimed to gain 1/2 in length in in the first 9 days. Since I have not measured any change I just wanted to make sure that I was on the right track. Thanks to all those who posted their thoughts and I greatly welcome other recommendations or success stories, especially in the length department.

:rolling: :rolling:

You are not the average guy, since in 15 days you gained what most of PEers gains in 3 months (if ever). In the rest days, just rest.

Yeah I’m really happy with my girth gains, it’s just that my focus is really on length right now. Any improvements in girth is just a bonus.

It’s the Murphy’ law applied to PE: if you want length, you get girth. :)

Try desiring adversely.

LOL, that’s so true. I’ll give it a try.

Anyone know if it’s possible to do too many Kegels?
