Am I Doing the Newbie Routine Right

Well guys, I have been familiar with PE for years but was too lazy to start until 4 weeks ago. When I first started, I was getting more erections, harder erections and all. Now that I am 4 weeks into t he Newbie routine, I have noticed I have a drop in libido , My erections are easily the same as when I started if not just a bit better, and I’m not having more erections ( could be due to masturbating everyday.. I just quit masturbating for good today.. I have been edging for the past few days. I haven’t used porn the past few days but I feel that I am still masturbating and just not ejaculating.) I also notice that sometimes the head of my penis is cold. Also, my flaccid penis is still the same size.

I have noticed that I am sill the same size as I was to begin with.

Stats:
NBPEL = about 7.4 in
BPEL = 8.4 in
EG (MID) = 5.18-5.25
EG (base) = Around 5.5

My Goal is a NBPEL of 8 to 8.5 in and an Erect girth of 6 inches.

Heres what I have been doing..

Week 1: 10 min Jelqs, 5 min stretching
Week 2: 14 min Jelqs, 6 min stretching + Few kegels
Week 3: 18 min Jelqs, 7 min stretching + More Kegels
Week 4: 22 min Jelqs, 8 min stretching + Kegels all throughout the day

Plan to add 4 min every week to jelqs and 1 min to stretching, until 7 weeks are up. Then wake a week off and move to clamping and hanging.

Is everything look right? Or Whats going on? Am I doing too much or is this normal?

If your penis or any part thereof is cold, BACK OFF! Your body is trying to tell you something and its isn’t of a positive nature. Someone who owns a penis will be along shortly to explain better than I can what you need to do. But your body is talking to you, please listen to it.

Sorry I made that sound a lot worse than I really is. My penis isn’t just cold randomly. My penis head feels a little COOL not COLD a few minutes after my warm-down from jelqing.

I still think that you are probably doing too much; but I want one of the other fellas to chime in with their thoughts.

No rest days? Kegels target regular muscle, without rest they have no real chance of recovery and growth. So Kegels NEED rest days.

As for jelqing and stretches, take rest days there too.

And why do you insist on increasing your efforts like that? I’d say start at a relatively comfortable level (= Newbie routine) and stick with it for 12 weeks or so. If you haven’t gotten any gains, then you may consider upping the ante. But jumping into hanging and clamping like that, that’s not good. Risk of injury when going overboard like that.

I’d venture that you are overdoing things. Back off some, and take rest days.

Your routine seems to be missing the most important thing. HEAT. Your routine doesn’t say anything about heat in there, and it doesn’t get anymore simple than this. If you don’t use heat, you will not gain. For a year I thought I was heating my penis effectively. How wrong I was. I got myself an IR lamp and found out what a real warm up was.


Dec \'23 -> Feb\'24 17.5cm -> 18.5cm BPEL / 12.7cm -> 13.1 MSEG / 18.5cm -> 18.9cm BPFSL (measuring in mm for accuracy)

My First Real Attempt:

2006 Start: 6.25" BPEL and 5" EG - 2012 7.625" BPEL / 4.875" EG / 8.063" BPFSL. (All manual routine)

Once gain, I forget to mention..

I do use heat to worm-up and warm down as well. I go 2 days and 1 day off. So I get anywhere from 2 to 3 rest days a week.

I’m not really in a rush to get to clamping, but on the newbie routine it states that you should slowly work up to 30 minutes of jelqing and 10 minutes of stretches over a 6 week period. So I just did the math to add more and more every week.

So as you can see I m in a bind here, I can’t really judge my erections because I’m not really getting any. My Penis remains about the same size when I do erect. I no gains are slow to come by, but I thought that most ppl recieve noobie gains.

Huh? If you mean you are taking a break from it, that’s what I would recommend. See how you are after a couple of weeks without it. You’re wood should return to normal.

If you mean giving it up permanently…good luck with that. Rather than making some impossible-to-live-up-to resolution for yourself, why not just take the approach that you won’t do that unless your dick naturally springs to life on its own?

As yes. To porn or not to porn, that is the question.

I don’t know if porn is the problem. Maybe give that up for awhile too. But I’m confused now.

It seems that you aren’t saying that you can’t get it up but, as you certainly need to get it up to edge, what’s really going on? This makes me think the problem is just that you can’t leave it alone, ever.

Mine is too sometimes. I think all men have that problem.

The question is: when does it happen? If it’s happening right after your PE workout, i.e. as a result of doing PE, then I’d say that it’s because you are using too much force with the exercises.

If you find it’s happening here and there. Like you are not doing anything much, but go the bathroom or something, and happen to notice that it’s a little cool to the touch, that could well be normal.

If it’s always cool to the touch, get it checked out.

I disagree with this. It is my understanding that the BC muscle is a similar type of muscle as the abdominal muscles, and can be worked everyday. It is not necessary for it to ‘recover’ the way your biceps, etc., do.

I work my BC muscle every day and it does not ever have anything but a positive effect.

That’s what it sounds like to me, too. Youngswolen seems to have a typical case of exhausted penis.

I’d say take a break from PE for a week. Don’t masturbate or even edge for at least that amount of time as well.

When you do go back to PE, follow the Newbie Routine exactly, from warm-up to ending with Kegels (non-erect Kegels, just so we’re clear). And while doing the exercises practice use of moderate force. Don’t beat up on it, just stretch it, and jelq it using slow, steady pressure that is not intense at all. Take rest days and don’t jack-off every chance you get.

I bet you see improvement.

‘Youngnswolen’ - you can hit your NBPEL goal of 8.0” in the next few months by losing weight, and if you don’t have weight to lose - have LIPO of the pubic area to rid of that fat pad.
