Am I doin it right

I just started doing PE a few days ago and I’ve spent the last week reading the forums for hours but I’ve got a lot of questions I’ve yet to find answers to if someone’s up for it. Basically, am I doing it right?
First, regarding jelqing, although I’m circumcised I seem to have enough skin that every time I stroke up it rolls up the skin a bit over my head, so I have to release and reset my skin before I can start with the other hand to stroke up again. Since I have to release to reset my foreskin, it defeats the point of using two hands. Is there anything wrong with using just one hand to push all the blood up into the head, releasing and starting over again? I’ve basically been doing that since my teens, so maybe that helps account for me having a decent starting girth (5.5” girth and I’m 5’5” tall). Perhaps I should hold my skin down with one hand and stroke up with the other? I don’t want to get much thicker, but I’ve read jelqing was good for lengthening too.
I’m going for length gains, so I heard warming up the tendons is key for stretching tendons permanently. Whenever I feel my dick though, it’s usually pretty warm to the touch just from blood being in there. Does that mean I can skip warmups? I’m just trying to find a convenient way to do warmups if they’re gunna help. I don’t have a hot pack, so I tried hot water on a washcloth, but that seems to cool off pretty quickly. I’m considering heating up rice for warmups. I think I’ve got some Uncle Ben’s around here..
Also, I’m starting to do hand stretches but I’m finding it quite tiring on my hands. Is it supposed to be? It’s hard to pull hard enough to get a stretch at all if I don’t pull hard. Does that mean I need to find an easier way to pull harder or what? I wrap my dick with toilet paper for grip and pull down (and various other directions) until I can feel a stretch and hold, but I really can’t go long pulling like that without cramping up my hand. My cock seems very durable. It ached a tiny bit the first day and I took the next off, and the last couple days I haven’t been able to get it to ache again, causing me to think I’m not getting a good stretch in. I’ve been stretching off and on for an hour or three or whatever, mixing in jelqing to keep some blood in there. I’m not in bad shape, but maybe my hand strength is just too weak haha.
I’m also a bit confused, as I just checked and seem to have gained .25” (cancel that, .5”) on my fsl after stretching, which puts me at 6.75” (checked just now and I’m just under 7) bpfsl and I’ve never been able to pull myself beyond 6.5 bp. I’m wondering if that’s just a failure in my ability to measure initially (because a 1/4” or more fsl gain in a few days seems ridiculous), or if it’s temporary because I just got done stretching and it’ll soon shrink back down. I use the same ruler every time. My 5.9-6” EL is also much shorter than my fsl, so I don’t know if that’s normal.
I’m not really much for routines or timing myself for anything. I figure stretching is sort of like hanging, and the longer I pull for a stretch the more it should help. Is that correct, or should I start timing myself? I’m going to rest based on EQ and common sense to avoid doing too much as I’m well aware of the potential for injury.
Any thoughts or tips would be great as I’m trying to learn everything I can and hopefully gain an inch.
