Almost ready to start stretching

Almost ready to start stretching

I have been following the linear routine for almost two weeks now, and I’m glad that I haven’t stretched yet because I have been able to adjust my jelqing technique without having to guess whether any results such as pain came from the streching or the jelqing. I have a few questions about stretching:

-The newbie routine manuals always say to do stretches, without specifying which kind of stretches. I am assuming they are talking about simple manual stretches, is this correct? If so, when could I start doing other stretches, such as V stretches and JAI stretches- when I am still doing the newbie routine, or when I go on to the advanced routine?

-In the video for the simple manual stretches, the side stretches are done at SE and SW, rather than east and west. Is this the correct form, or should I be doing the side stretches at 180 degrees, or completely to the sides?

-I will be starting with 5 stretches (down, left, right, up, straight out) of 30 seconds (less if I feel discomfort),but I’m wondering in which sequence you would add another stretch per side. If i decide to go up to 2 stretches per side for a total of 10 stretches, but I go through all of the sides and start over again, or just do each side twice? ( So would it be up down left right out, up down left right out, OR up up down down left left right right out out?)

-I have read that these stretches should be done flaccid. Is it ok if there is a very little amount of erection (like 10 or 15%)?

-Lastly, I read that some people kegel when doing simple manual stretches. Does anybody do this, and is there any real advantage? Would you hold the kegel for the duration of the stretch, or is it a fast kegel?

Sorry for so many questions and thanks for reading!

Hey man, I am doing a bit more advanced routine with stretching, but I am trying out what I call “reverse stretching.” So, I would suggest you start with stretches that balance one another, almost like lifting weights. Start first by doing either straight up and down, straight out and between the cheeks, or left and right. What I would recomend is that you do a stretch for lets say 10 seconds straight up, then do it straight down for 10 seconds. However, I would stretch for a min of 5 minutes total. Then 4 hours later, at minimum, do another set of the same stretches. Each week I would up how long you hold the stretch and the total amount of time you stretch throughout your routine for 4 weeks. Then I would switch the direction of the stretch to lets say left and right, starting off with the 10 second hold and increasing over the course of 4 weeks. Every 4 weeks I would rotate the stretches you do. You may also want to add in some jelqing to ensure your erection quality does not decrease, mine does if I do not jelq.

I do my stretches as limp as possible. It is okay to have a “little” erection, but try to do them as limp as possible.

I do not kegel while I do my stretches, but kegel on my day off as much as possible. I am on a 2 day on 1 day off schedule. I guess that can be something you can experiment with and try on your on.

Xtended's Progress Report

Manual stretches are basically pulling your dick straight up, down, left, right and out. You don’t have to be very technical about the left and right stretches. You don’t have to pull perpendicular to the sagittal plane. Also, you can do A, V and jai stretches whenever you want. They are not so advanced that you need X amount of time PEing to do them.

Stretching should be done flaccid but it is inevitable that you will gain some sort of erection during that time. You can stretch until you have an erection of 40% (estimate) or until the erection is preventing you from stretching effectively. Like xtenddick said, try to stretch as flaccid as possible.

I do a quick kegel after every stretch strictly out of habit. You don’t have to kegel while stretching.

There is no set sequence to stretching; you can pull down for 10sec. x2. Or you can pull up, down, left, right, out x2. However you do it is individual and no on way is better than the other.

Obsession is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated.

Thanks for the replies guys. So which is more beneficial for gains, stretching east and west, or like in the video, southeast and southwest (for the side stretches)?
