Almost a month in. My first weird thing happened.

I’ve been quite afraid of injury since I started. When this happened I had a mini-freakout.

I was manually stretching upwards, my penis vertical, parallel to my stomach. I felt, and heard, something tear way down on the underside of my shaft. Like, inside of me, right behind my balls. It felt like a mild, mild pain. Acute soreness, if you will. It sounded like some kind of paper being torn very quickly, but muffled (because it happened inside of me, I guess.)

After freaking out/warming and massaging my member for 5 or 10 minutes, what little pain I felt at the time was gone. This happened an hour ago. I now feel and appear completely normal. What the H happened? Is there anything I should do?

I think it was a lig pop. Do a search about.

Perhaps a lig pop, but I have only heard of them occurring while stretching downward. If it was a lig pop, this is the first for an upward stretch. And usually lig pops, while always freakish, almost never cause pain.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I suppose it was more panic than pain that I felt. I just don’t know what else to call it. When I massaged the area right after it happened, there was no tenderness at all.

After searching, it does sound like a lig pop. I just don’t like hearing that I’m the first upward stretching one that you’ve heard of.

Isnt ithere only suspensory ligaments attached to the penis ( which implies that pop occur only while stretching downward) or am I missing something ?

While they are called suspensory ligaments, they are still the main thing attaching your penis to your body no matter what direction it is being pulled in.

My ligaments pop all the time. usually when I first start doing the LDP stretch. (Which is a downward stretch)

This is exactly why I listen to music while I do my stretches.
