Air Pump Vs Hydro Pump

Air Pump Vs Hydro Pump

Hey guys,

So I’ve been using the bathmate for around 2 years now and I’m yet to see any permanent gains. It hasn’t discouraged me, I actually think I can be a lot more dedicated to the whole PE process. I think the bathmate is a great product, but limited in terms of places in can be used - which has now become a problem for me. I recently moved into a new apartment with a few friends and now have to share a bathroom with 2 of them. Therefore I’ll no longer have the privacy and time to use the bathmate, as I had living with my folks.

I’m thinking to now get an Air Pump that I can use in the privacy of my room. Would you advise for or against this? I’ve heard hydro pumps are much better and safer than air pumps, but that means nothing if you don’t have the opportunity to consistently use them. Would getting an air pump be a worthwhile option? How much of any potential gains will I sacrifice using this instead of the bathmate? Also, does anyone have any good recommendations on which brand/model should go for, if you think its worth it?

Thanks in advance

Air Pump is a good idea. With a gauge.

Also think about adding manuals, ulis and jelqs, and later on clamping to your routine. Pumping expansion is different to these.(pumping si pulling while most manuals are pushing inside out)

Pumping alone has given some people gains but to me its more an amplifier to other exercises.

Thanks dickerschanz. Do you have a recommended model to go for? I’ve read that x4 labs have very good air pumps. Any thoughts on the models in the link below?

Thanks

Anyone else have views on this? Thanks in advance again

Thanks Guys. Anyone have an opinion or advice on this?

There are many people with a lot of pumping experience here on Thunder’s. I’d add two things:

1) use heat. the big benefit of the bathmate is that it keeps your penis warm. If you use an air pump, you should also wrap the cylinder with a small heating pad to keep your unit warm while you pump. Personally, I think that pumping without heat is a waste of time.
2) don’t bother with electric pumps. If you pick the right cylinder size, a good manual pump with a gauge is just fine, and a lot quieter. If you use an electric air pump, all your roommates will know something strange is going on in your bedroom - it is really loud. A manual pump is quiet.

Live long and prosper.

Another good supplier is LeLuv. They make a variety of cylinder sizes and manual pumps. A pump+gauge+hoses+cylinder is around $100, give or take. You can get them on ebay, amazon, or their website. I got my heating pad on Amazon.

In my opinion, The VelSeal cylinder from PumpToys with its thick silicone gasket is by far the most comfortable on the market but a bit pricy at $90. I coupled mine with a Harbor Freight brake bleeder pump. LeLuv is more affordable.

Thanks guys for the advice, all extremely helpful. Based on your recommendations I’m looking at getting the Leluv Vacuum Maxi Pump(9 inch cylinder). Come with gauge, cylinder, pump and hose. Has only 9 reviews but all 5 stars. What’s your expert opinion ha? Also looking at sizing. I’m currently BPEL: 7, EG: 5, and 7.5 & 5.5-6 after using the bathmate. I’m thinking of getting the 2.25 or 2.5 based on the measurements in the item description. Divided on whether to go for the smaller as I’ve never hit the EG for it 6.25, but worried that I’ll grow out of it quick, or opt for the 2.5 and potentially have a suction issue?

This the product on Amazon:

Thanks again for the help guys

I use a 2” tube and I’m 5.5meg and more at the base. I’m only slightly packing the bottom 1/4 of the tube.

I, myself am a fan of Boston pumps, but hey use what’s best for you.

I can tell you, at your current 5" MSEG, that a 2.25 or 2.5" tube will be too large. A 1.75" would make more sense. But most men buy a too large tube when they start out. This is part of the pumping process.

Now: 9" BPEL x 6.25" MSEG as of 11/10/2019 This is my story, a few progress pics of me here, and all my methods.

Then: 6.25" x 4.37" in 8/2009 Are you new to PE? Here's some advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.
