Age, Does it make a difference

Hey Guys, I a newbie and just started my routine. I am 51 and my tool seems to be shrinking. LOL Years ago, it seems like I measured around 5.75” in fully erect length. Now, I’m just a hair over 5”. I’m hoping I can reach my old size and gain another 1 1/4. I’m not sure how well I will respond. Are there any older guys out there that have gone thru this process? I think the ideal time to start is when a person is in their teens or 20’s. While their tendons and ligaments are more flexible. Anyone have any opinions or stories they would like to share?

Many older than you. I think the oldest guy to come out on the record is Droopy at 70+.

You might make easier initial gains, getting back your former size will probably be fairly easy.

I’m 49 now but I started doing PE a little over 2 years ago. PE works Great, but don’t forget to include vitamins and supplements in your routine.

Our member boxcar23, who is also one of our physician members, is near 80 if I recall correctly.

Graywolf925 - I agree that the older guys seem to make gains somewhat easier than younger ones, at least in the beginning. I’m 54 and gained 3/4” in length in the first three months.

Hey guys, Thanks for the warm response. Travelguy, I do take vitamins, but what supplements do you suggest? Also, I seem to see conflicting ideas from many different people on scheduling a routine. Some suggest lighter routines, while others suggest you can’t over do it. I have a lot of time on my hands right now and can do whatever is necessary to get the best results. Any opinions on that?
I’m glad to hear that there are guys my age and older doing this. That even gives me more hope. I wish I would have found this site a lot sooner. It’ funny how our Penis envy controls our lives. It’s really a shame that our insecurities dominate our mind, but I guess that’s being human. I think back thru the years. I have laid a lot of pipe and have never had any complaints on size. I had one girlfriend that told me I was the perfect size. Her ex husband had a 9” rod and sex was not enjoyable at all. He made her cum 1 time and that was the first time they ever did anything. Follow that newbie routine for a few months to get conditioned and then begin to expand with either more time, more exercises, hanging, pumping, etc.
But the consensus is to do the newbie for a few months to get well conditioned for the more advanced stuff.

I personally know that, for my wife, 7 is perfect. I’m here to reach that length and an inch more girth (which I know most important to her is girth).

How did it actually shrink? Do you have a fat pad? Because the easiest way to make your dick bigger than would be to work off that stomach.

Do a bit of jogging or something. Not only is it beneficial for PE, but considering your age, it would also be good for your heart.

Shrinkage is pretty common with age and separate from dick + belly = smaller dick. Poorer circulation or government conspiracy, I don’t really know; but, shrinkage is pretty common with age. On the plus side most of the guys that have experienced this gain back what they have lost rather quickly.

If a guy has grown a belly and shrunk his dick with age some rather fast and drastic gains should be possible in the short term.

Hi Smokey, I think I lost a little in length, because I’ve had two surgeries to remove strictures. A stricture is a build up of scar tissue. I think that is the definition. They made an incision between my testicles and anus and cut out about an inch of my urethra. I was totally blocked up and couldn’t pee a drop. I had to go to the emergency room and get drained. They actually punched a hole in my bladder and put a valve, hose and a bag. It was a miserable time for a few months. The second time, I think they just went in thru the penis and rooter routed the excess tissue to reopen me. After the first time, I thought I looked a little shorter. The Dr. Said, that was an unfortunate side effect of that operation. I figured that a hose could be restretched pretty easy. LOL Hopefully it will.
As far as losing weight, I’m in pretty good shape. I do have a little bit of a fat pad, but it’s probably normal at my age. I’m about 6’ tall and weigh around 190, so, I’m not much overweight. Maybe 10 lbs. I do need to get rid of that though. LOL

Graywolf, everyone has there own opinions about vitamins and supplements so browse through the supplements forum and you can get an idea of what everyone is using. For myself I like to take “ArginMax”, Super Goat Weed with Maca, Lecithin, L- Carnitine, Pygeum, and Horse Chestnut. The ArginMax has the ever-popular L-Arginine.

Besides the benefits to sexual health these supplements provide, most are also beneficial to prostate health which is very important to men our age.

Concerning routines, it is possible to overdue it. As mentioned already, it is best to use the newbie routine and gradually work up.

Yea I’m no doctor either but I would think that with your previous operations you might want to err on the side of caution.

I’ll be 41 soon and I wish I too had found this place earlier, like 20 years ago. But we’re here now so I guess that what counts.

My theory on the loss with age is that we get less plyable with age. Our skin looses elasticity, our eye sight finally does start to diminish from all the cronic masturbation, and we start to fake hearing loss because we’re tired of listen to everyone bitch about things… wait I’m getting side tracked.

My theory is that the internal structures of the body probably loose some of their elasticity as well, and for lack of better terminology, might have a tendancy to tighten up. ie, tendons, ligiments.etc. So I imagine a good diet, exercise, and possibly some suppliments may indeed be beneficial.
