After EXTENSIVE advanced searching, I unearthed lots of information. I got more Q's

I have been searching for about 1 hour and it answered a lot of questions. The only problem is, I don’t know if your going to see more or less of me because I’m learning so much I have to ask questions that I haven’t found answered.

I found out that “The same muscle both increases sensitivity and susceptibility to orgasm but also prevents undesired ejaculation.” Could someone please help to explain this to me?

Also, I did searching on reverse kegels. I had it described three, yes 3, different ways:

1. Stopping the contracting of the muscle (PC?) so that it doesn’t move at all.
2. Forcing yourself to urinate.
3. Act like you are about to defecate.

Which of these is the correct statement?

Is the kegel or reverse kegel more efficient for stopping ejaculation?? Which is better for what purpose?

I also searched on edging.

How far exactly are you to take yourself? Are you supposed to go 1 stroke before the PONR or what? How long do you wait before you start edging again? How long should the edging period last? How should I appropriately use kegels and reverse kegels for maximum benefits? Lastly, are you supposed to ejaculate at the end of the edging period??

I honestly did search for almost an hour and I hope that these are valid questions. I sure hope that this thread doesn’t get deleted. I put a lot of effort into this one.

The bulbocavernosus or BC muscle (also called bulbospongiosus), in conjunction with the rhythmic contractions of the prostate and other inner parts of the system, is responsible for the “spurting” of semen during ejaculation. By learning to control the contractions of this muscle you can delay ejaculation and, for some, attain multiple orgasms. That’s the “undesired ejaculation” part.

This muscle also is responsible for pumping blood into the glans (head) of the penis at the time of ejaculation making it larger and firmer and, for some, more sensitive. Developing a stronger BC muscle can help you have stronger erections and perhaps a more sensitive glans.

Number one is correct, but two and three are how some people attain number one.

If you can clamp down on the BC muscle (with a continuous Kegel) it can fatigue the muscle so it will not contract during ejaculation, or at least it will be weaker. The rhythmic spurting of ejaculation somehow signals the body that playtime is over and you go into the refractory period where you cannot get erect or ejaculate. This period varies for different men, younger ones being able to recover sooner, in general.

By relaxing the BC (the unfortunately named “reverse” Kegel) you simply open a path for the semen to flow out. It can be fun to watch a fountain of semen rather than jet after jet, but in my experience the end result is the same as having ejaculated normally: the refractory period. I’m certainly not a multiple orgasm expert. Others may have different experiences and may want to report them here.

How far exactly are you to take yourself?

Just to the edge. :)

Are you supposed to go 1 stroke before the PONR or what?

Most men aren’t able to judge it down to the last stroke. If you can, then stop there. Most stop when they get that tingle in the groin that signals an impending orgasm.

How long do you wait before you start edging again?

Until the urge to spurt goes away. Usually about 10 seconds (for me). You may want to continue to massage the penis, but avoid the trigger zone of the glans and shaft. Rub the base instead. Or just stop until the urge to orgasm goes away.

How long should the edging period last?

As long as you like.

How should I appropriately use kegels and reverse kegels for maximum benefits?

It depends on the “benefits” you’re looking for. Kegels can help overall penis health and it’s recommended that everyone do them. A hundred or two ever other day is a nice routine.

Reverse kegels aren’t of much use in my opinion. Some guys use them in conjunction with manual stretching because they think it helps “loosen” things and makes for better stretch results. Some use them for the multiple orgasm training. This isn’t rocket science. You do what works and if it doesn’t you try something else.

Lastly, are you supposed to ejaculate at the end of the edging period?

Some do, some don’t. That doesn’t sound like a solid answer, but every man is different. There are hundreds of threads here on edging. Search for the ones with the most replies and see what others have to say.
