After 2 months on beginner's routine

1-Can I stretch every day? If so for how long?

2-Should I upgrade to 3 days on 1 day off for the Jelq routine?

You can do whatever you want: it’s your penis.

Couple questions. Are you seeing gains? If not then my suggestion would be to up the intensity, not change days on or off.

Are you using enough heat? Lots of guys skimp on the warm-up. This is a mistake. Get it good and warm and keep it warm through your workout. Your dick will thank you, possibly by showing more gains.

Is your erection strength improving? About the same? Worsening? Was it good to start off and how is it now?

Let us know a bit more about how things are going.

You shouldn’t upgrade if you have grown. Stick to what you’re doing, and when you stop growing - then upgrade.

I am not seeing gains yet though my unit is heavier and looks less flacid. Erection strength has improved. I do do the warm-up. How does a person keep it warm during a session? Is that a common practice?

I do like this: I put it in warm water for five minutes than a to the Jelq and then I stretch and then you worm it for another five minutes in warm water or take a shower I don’t warm it when I do the routine put maybe I should what do other guys do?

What I mean is a good warm-up.

I advocate a twenty minute moist heat warm up to begin, with a rice sock or a microwaveable heat pad. This gets the tissue very warm and pliable and invites blood to the area. It makes stretching, etc., more effective and greatly reduces the chance of injury.

Five minutes here and there, while better than nothing, is insufficient in my view, considering what we are attempting to do. Physical therapists warm tissue they work on for 15-20 minutes to help effect change. It just makes good sense that this be our model.

As far as keeping warm during your routine. While stretching, hanging, pumping or clamping it is easy enough to apply a heat pad with a little thought and creativity. Jelqing is another matter. One can use a heat lamp (though this does lead to greater discoloration), or do jelqing in a hot shower. If you have really given yourself a good warm-up and have applied heat during other parts of your routine it’s fine to just jelq without constant heat.

But I think as much constant heat as possible is just a good idea.
