I suppose some suggest a newbie should not be using them but I don’t find them to be a strain at all. I am on the newbie routine and stretch in the morning. When I am done I wear the golf weights (3 of them ~ 1lb) pretty much all day. Then I jelq at night and fowfer while I sleep. I have noticeable flaccid gains and erect length seems longer but I don’t plan to measure until mid next month…and I have only been using them for a couple of weeks.
Toobsnake has a great post where he describes using an extender after his morning exercises so he heals in an extended state. Big Girtha and Plein Lee are other great gainers who swear by them. I like the golf weights because they barely offer a gentle stretch…they just keep me in my stretched state after my morning work. With above average girth, I actually wear them all day with no wrapping.
I don’t think an ADS will be very beneficial on their own, though some have claimed to gain just by using them with no manual PE. But I believe an ADS can complement manual work and the hanging that the vets do. Admittedly, I should reserve complete judgement until after several more months but I am excited about the initial results. Ring weights just happen to be my choice for an ADS. I wear dress clothes to work and they are easily concealed under moderately baggy dress pants.
