I’m new to posting but been lurking about on the forums and reading up on various topics of interest for some time now.. I know that being informed is key to successful PE, so I’ve been trying to develop a good foundation to begin with by sort of psyching myself up to PE, so to speak. I’ve made several casual attempts at keeping up a jelqing regimen years ago, but I’m setting out to stick to it this time by feeling more confident and knowledgeable about it.

My real question here regards ADS; I’ve been looking particularly extensively into the subject because I’m very much a grower rather than a shower. I have a high tendency towards turtling, even when I’m not doing PE, and my flaccid length can be embarrassing at times, and sometimes physically painful at worst. I’ve been seriously considering purchasing the AutoXleeve system from monkeybar, but since it would be quite a bit of an investment, especially as a newbie to PE, I’m still a bit reluctant.

I know that once I start a PE routine, I’d like to wear the AutoXleeve regularly, if not every day. Being that gradual stress and intensity is key, especially when starting out, I’ve been thinking that it would be best to wear the AutoXleeve without doing any manual exercises at first, for a while. Does anyone have an opinion or recommendation as to whether or not there would be any benefit or disadvantage to doing this?

Are you sure an ADS is the best way to increase FL?

If you read sometimes the newbie forum, I bet you have heard this advice very often: the newbie routine (or the linear routine, your choice) will give you better and faster results than any extender.

If you are going to use the AutoXleeve, doing manual exercise in conjunction will make a big difference, likely.

So, the advice would be : do just manuals for now, and when gains stop go for the extender.

Also, have you considered making an homemade extender? There are some good threads about, and you could save some money.

Actually, while I do want to increase my FL, my goal is more along the lines of conditioning myself to use the AutoXleeve comfortably and without putting my penis through too much initial shock. I can most definitely see the benefit of doing just manual exercises, and then stepping it up to ADS once gains have plateaued. But I’m certain, based on past experiences, that I’ll suffer a lot of shrinkage afterwards, and I know that that’s counterproductive to gains.

The best option I’ve read about that (I think) would provide a similar benefit to the AutoXleeve would be using an Ace bandage wrap.. But with how much trial and error seems to be involved with that method, and with how much praise there is for using silicone materials for ADS, I’d rather put my trust in something that’s been developed and perfected out of the box.

I also am a times my penis can shrink up to 1 inch in length and like 2 inches of girth lol I really hate Winter.

So what is your main goal with pe? Are you only interested in improving your flaccid penis? That’s a big deal with me also.I’d like to be able to shower with my girlfriend and not feel like she is thinking about how small it got.

Really, I’m just looking for overall gains and better penile health. There’s always room for improvement, right? :D

I have been doing a light newbie routine for PE and I use a TLC Tugger for foreskin restoration.

I have seen a 1/4 inch gain in length and nothing in girth in about two months. I am still very new to PE. I have been working on foreskin restoration for just over 15 months.

I’ve combined the newbie routine with some major ballooning, borderline what a clamp would do. Then I do light stretches throughout the day to keep it “out”. I too shrink A LOT throughout the day, but since I’ve been ballooning 3 sets of 5-10 minutes, it hasn’t turtled once. Every time I go in the bathroom I am very careful not to mess with it until I get a look in the mirror to see how it is “fresh out of the pants”. It’s been great. Don’t use a mechanical just yet.

harshlanguage and 4Foreskin, it’s good to know that it’s working out for you both. That’s sort of the principle I had in mind as well; in addition to preconditioning to ADS, you sort of prep your penis to the jelqing you’ll be applying to it. I’d forgotten to mention before that I’d also had a hard time doing stretches properly, as I have a tendency to become too erect for them to be effective, and I’m also thinking that ADS would make up for that. Just a newbie theory, though.

tallheart, I’ve had good experiences with ballooning myself, but as I’ve read, by itself, it doesn’t seem to do much. What exactly are you doing for your “major” ballooning routine? Is that 5-10 minutes going from start (no stimulation) to finish (as close as possible to the PONR with stimulation and reverse/extreme kegels) or is it only while the actual ballooning occurs, after you’ve approached the PONR for the first time? Are you doing anything extra to enhance the overall experience?

I wore the extender for several months before I ever tried Jelqing. In that time period there was a noticeable change in my flaccid hang. I too was very much a grower and after 2 months, my penis looked different and felt distinctly heavier in my hand. My BPFL was 3.5” on a good day and now it is regularly 4.5” and if I give it a little tug, it is even longer.

I am not nearly so self conscious anymore and my wife has made several comments on how much bigger my unit looks and how the new jeans she bought me really make me look big. She doesn’t know what I am doing.

By “major” I mean I am doing it a lot more than I should be, I guess. I’m not quite at 8 weeks, but I like the balloon in my warmup as I feel it is a good jump start into the routine. However, I have to stress that I do have a hot tub that facilitates a good warmup before ballooning.

Also, I feel that the glans can’t take as much pressure as the shaft. I sometimes will hold the glans with my hand to keep it safe while pressuring the shaft. But that’s just me. I do want a bigger glans, but it just needs to be done more gently than the shaft.

None of that matters directly for length gains, although I think it does indirectly.

I went ahead and bought the AutoXleeve, and today is day three — and I’m glad I bought this thing in advance. It’s definitely different, to say the least. While (just as advertised) it doesn’t really feel like you’re wearing much at all, when I think about it, I become very conscious of it. But I guess that’s to be expected, with something new.

I’ve only been wearing it for the compressive stretching and to get accustomed to the feeling, and haven’t been making use of the hook, but I’m definitely psyched about making a harness to stretch all day too. I wore it eight hours the first day and twelve hours yesterday and today; is that perhaps too much, to begin with? I’m a little worried the comfort of the setup is keeping me from noticing any problems.

Davesj1 — I just started the newbie routine with the AutoXleeve. So far I like the AutoXleeve a lot, except if you use the weight too long it is uncomfortable. I was gonna start a progress thread but Thunder’s doesn’t seem to let me start a new thread until I post more or something.
