Adding an ADS

I currently am just doing manual exercises and thinking about adding an ADS to help healing extended. I usually do my routine 1-3 hours before going to bed. I don’t want to wear an ADS while sleeping (and since most healing occurs at night) so would it be a good idea to do my routine in the morning so I can wear my ADS throughout the day? Or would 2-3 hours of ADS at night after my workout, before bed e adequate extended-heal time?

I have played with an ADS off and on during my PE stint and gained pretty good each time I dedicated 3 solid months to it, in addition to manual exercises. I would usually wear my ADS for 6 -8 sometimes 10 or 12 hours per day. Usually I would do my manual exercises, like stretching and jelqing, then I would put on my ADS and wear it during the day.

Lately, though I have been wondering, how is it that individuals are able to hang for 20 to 30 minutes and get gains, but to get adequate gains, individuals usually must wear an ADS for 3+ hours? I am aware there is a difference in the amount of stress applied to your penis while hanging as compared to an ADS, but I guess it is hard for me to believe it is that much different. Take for instance, jelqing. Individuals have reported gains with jelqing for 20 to 30 minutes a day. I just cannot image the stress applied via an ADS is smaller than your hands can give during jelqing.

I guess, like James000, I am asking is it really necessary to wear an ADS longer than 3 hours/day to see gains or is it more important to continue to add stress via increasing length over a certain period of time?

Does anyone have any ideas about this?

You won’t see significant gains by wearing it 3 hours a day. Minimum recommendation is 5 hours a day and maximum is 8 hours.

I reckon you should do your routine in the morning, so that you are able to wear your ADS for a longer period of time.

The longer the time, you keep your unit in that elongated state, the faster it is to cement the temporary gains.

Good question. An ADS properly said is slightly different from an extender; so said, I think one can have gains wearing an extender even 1 hour daily for 4-5 days per week, and that wearing it 6 hours or 12 hours will make little or not difference in gains.

There are guys that are having impressive gains using an extender with the stress relaxation technique for an hour or so daily:
