Addicted to PE

Is anyone else addicted to PE?

After three years I am getting close to my original goals but at the moment I can’t see that I would want to stop.

I’m not sure if I’m addicted to PE or the porn I watch while clamping and PEing. (possible both)

I’d be interested in your thoughts.

I, for one, would say Yes - absolutely. I reached my goal last month and have been doing light maintenance and some girth work. I promised my wife I would stop after the maintenance period, but it’s just so cool to know what you’re doing for yourself! I certainly don’t do the 45 minute sessions I did for my first four months, but I will probably never quit altogether. Besides, there are plenty of posts on here that confirm that it is healthy to exercise your unit.

Absolutely. It is to the point that my day is not complete if I have not done my PE routine. I have to be careful not to overtrain though. PE is definitely a part of my lifestyle and I can’t see myself ever stopping (or at least not any time soon).

I’m just starting the newbie routine (about 3 weeks in) and I find I cannot stop thinking about doing my exercises for the day; specially after my first measurement which I plan on doing every 2 weeks. I gained 0.25” in just about 2 weeks of doing it. This just gives me a ton more motivation now and added addiction as I absolutely cannot wait for my next measurement which will be June 25th.


Start May-28-09 --- BPEL 5.875/EG 4.75/NBPEL 5.125/FL 3.00/FG 4.00 *Oct 24/09 --- BPEL 6.750/EG 4.875/NBPEL 5.875/FL 4.000/FG 4.250*

Short Term Goal --- BPEL 7.000/EG 5.000

Long Term Goal --- BPEL 7.500/EG 6.000

At first it seemed like a chore, but now it seems as natural as breathing. It’s as enjoyable as going to the gym when you know that results are just around the corner. There have been many times in the past where I’d try PE and just quit, but now I can’t imagine not doing it.

4/20/10 - BPEL - 7.5 EL - 7.0 EG - 5.6-5.9 depending on EQ

I think that if your not addicted to the thought of having a healthier, and larger unit, through such little (relatively speaking) work, there might be something off about you.

Hey marc I was just curious, what does your routine consist of?

PE seems just like any other activity that takes lots of work and knowledge to excel at and gives a long term reward, such as body building. At first you don’t really want to do it and have trouble getting a good routine in, but once you’re at it and see some gains, you don’t stop,

I used to be sort of addicted to PE. Or more like obsessed with it. I still love doing it and look forward to my sessions, but admittedly with a little less zeal. Maybe its because I don’t have the time I used to have for it.

And dudes, as long as your addiction is a healthy one..no reason to worry.

True. I find now that I’ve started a committed PE routine that I’m getting much more exercise, watching what I eat and making sure I get enough sleep. That’s got to be a good thing all around. :)
