AB Silicone Sleeve Replacement

Does anyone know where to find a soft, stretchy silicone sleeve like the one from AB Silicone? Unfortunately they’re no longer in business.
Just started hanging and I’m using the sleeve as a wrap. Works great!

The one replacement I tried is too rigid.

I am afraid I don’t know what the AB silicone sleeves looked like. TPS started a thread a while ago, giving folks instructions on how to make their own: Silicone Sleeves - Make your own

I made some myself, had some extras, and gave them away: Free to a good home…

Unfortunately, I don’t have any more extras left. Monkeybar also sells something similar at autoextender.com. Look at the sleeves used in his xsleeve ADS product.

Thanks ErnieBanks! I e-mailed the folks at autoextender to see if the blue sleeves are the soft/stretchy variety.

all of his sleeves are of the soft/stretchy variety. The difference is the material used to make them; some silicone compounds are very, very soft, and others are harder. A soft sleeve is more comfortable; a harder sleeve is made of stiffer silicone compound, is less comfortable, but will last longer because it tears less easily.

the compound recommended in the TPS “make your own” thread is on the firmer side of the range that monkeybar uses.

If you are used to silicone sleeves, you might want to buy the “medium” one from monkeybar because it will last longer.
