I’ve been browsing this forum longer than I care to think about (no offense intended, I think of it as a pertinent psychological reflection) and it seems to me as if it is possible to pull on myself long enough to get a bigger dick.

Now, the big question and I’m certain vets will point to all sorts of topics in which this is covered in depth (if I get pointed to a FAQ, that’d be a bit embarrassing at this point), but does this shit cause erection problems?

I hear people talking about improved erection circulation, but I also look around and see several members (particularly bigger members with crazy girth) talking about cialis, (a bit of) viagra, yohimbe or whatever it’s called and I’m a bit concerned, to be truthful. A bigger dick would be great and all, but I’m average as average can be (6.5x5) and I really value function over size.

Anyway, sorry if this is a no-brainer. But I’ll hear a lot about increased erection capability and wonder why so many people here use suplements or anti-impotence drugs if that is the case. Clamping in particular looks fucking scary. I’m in my early 20s and I don’t want to be in my early 30s pumping my large flacid penis with drugs to get it up because it just had to be above average in size and I simulated priapism (which I’ve heard is detrimental to sexual functioning) in order to achieve it. I know at least a few of these guys are in their 40s or older, so I don’t want to make my judgement based on that.

Maybe it would be better to ask everybody who replies for their approximate age and whether or not PE has resulted in erection problems for them?

Oh, and sorry if this has already been covered somewhere, but if I decide to, how long should I wait to begin hanging? Obviously I shouldn’t start clamping for a long time or doing Horses yet, but is hanging an advanced routine or is it fine for newbies to start off with it?

From what I have gathered, it is 95% down to you. If you over do any of the exercises then you run the risk of injuring yourself. If your erections weaken or you are in pain then something must be wrong (I think).

For example, clamping. I’ve seen people who clamp at medium pressure for only 15 minutes and have seen great gains. I have also seen people who clamp with 2/3 clamps on high pressure for a long time to see gains. I know which one I will be doing when it’s time for me to clamp (I want girth), and thats the soft core, safe way.

The advice I have received so far from PM’ing veterans is ‘Sow but steady wins the race.’ Which is why I am starting off very light.

The cause for erection problems associated with PE is going overboard by using too much force or too much time which results in tissue trauma or injury.

To keep your results on the positive side with no loss of erection strength or even improved erection strength, keep your routine at moderate levels that stimulate growth and don’t cause damage.

I started doing this BECAUSE of erection problems. I had gotten completely impotent. Started doing penis health exericses (jelking and manual pulling) to improve blood flow. I had to use a pump along with cialis to get erections.

I noticed that I was getting a little bigger, did more research, and ended up here at thunders learning more about PE.

Now, I’m functional again and able to have sex every day. No more sitting around wishing I could get it up.

These exercises when done correctly will not do anything but make your dick bigger and give you better erections. Think about it. If these exercises made are dicks limp do you really think we’d be doing them.

I do clamping.Four 15 minute sets every day and have not had any problems. Clamping at high pressure will cause some loss of erection quality but it isn’t permanent. Take a week off or do some light jelqing and some kegels and your erection quality will come right back.

A lot of people who use stuff like cialis and viagra had erectile problems before they started PE. Some that use it just do it to get those super hard erections that they got when they where younger. Many of the guys here are older and need to use that stuff. Well they probably don’t NEED to use it but they want to.

Hanging is advanced.

You need to start with the newbie routine. Search for it and read.

Most of the guys talking about this stuff are using it for recreation. ;) Some guys use it during girth work for an enhanced “pump” or to counter act the temporary “sore wiener” they get from extreme girth work. Some very few guys that decide to push the envelope and not follow a safety first philosophy do encounter long term problems.

I would do the standard newbie thing and stick with basic hands on PE for a few months first. I would guess most guys with good self monitoring skills could probably start sooner but the, “you guessed wrong”, end of that scenario isn’t worth risking. Lots of guys get newbie gains in the first few months of manual PE anyway so that really is the way to go.

I’m a comlete newbie, or kind of, but I’ve got 3/8” - 1/2” gain in a short time, and my erections are perfect. I do use the slow and steady approach. You might want to check out the Modified Newbie Routine. It does what it says it will.
