A new thought about measurement

This won’t work for girth measurements, but I think girth measurements leave less open to interpretation.

For length, what are we really after? Isnt this all about penetration? Seems to me the most accurate and meaningful measurement would be “penetration depth”. How would you measure this? Any clear cylinder would work, I would think. This would be a bone pressed measurement. In essence, you simply push your dick into a tube as far as you could and mark it. Even more precise, would be to have some kind of plunger your penis could push up the tube. You could have a pre-marked tube. Would give you fast and pretty definitive results.

I only bring this up cause I was thinking about and was wondering if anyone has thought of this, discussed this, tried this, or seen any device that was meant for this.

I’ve actually seen a product like that specifically designed for measuring your penis. A clear plastic cylinder with a ruler on the side. Sorry cannot remember the name of the product and can’t dig it out with a google.

The main issue I had with it is that it would not take into account a curved penis.

Not to knock curved penises because they have their benefits too, but as far as I’m concerned, length is about how deep you can go period.

Perhaps, but for PE tracking purposes I think it is better to measure actual penis. I think that is better than a method that measures air rather than the penis.

A curve is part of your usable length, it straightens out inside the vagina a little.

Curved penis offers more pleasure to a woman. So not sure what guy above is talking about.

1) If a penis straightens out in a vagina, it should straighten out in a tube
2) Saying a curved penis offers more pleasure is as arbitrary as saying that a curved penis offers less pleasure. Yes there are some women that have more please from a curve hitting the g-spot.but there are also women who simply want it deep. If curve should be measured, then why are most measurements (pictures) on this site of a bone pressed ruler measurement?

I really didnt mean for this to turn into an argument, this was simply an observation that I made.with some assumptions. If penis length is about penetration, then we should be measuring ability to penetrate. I’m my mind, the simplest and most accurate way is use a device that measures you while you are penetrating.

I wouldn`t say the penis straightens out so much, but rather the vagina accommodates the curve.

Most guys here (but maybe I`m generalizing) are concerned with tracking their gains in a consistant way, not necessarily the depth of their penetration, that`s why we measure bone pressed usually with a hard ruler.

Which now that I think about it, I`m assuming the tube would be bone pressed as well so what`s the real issue here?

I cannot measure my erect length with a ruler, it is impossible.

I’m assuming the “Phallumeasure” tube wouldn’t straighten out my left curve completely, as my pumping cylinder doesn’t straighten out my curve when I put my erection in it to start pumping. Does that make sense?

Oh we’re not arguing, we are just discussing your observations and assumptions. OK? Everybody is quite happy, it is an interesting topic.

I understand, a curved penis should be measured different than a fairly straight one. (flexible ruler, tailor’s tape, etc.)

I just think the tube (by my understanding) should give the same result as a bone pressed measure with a standard ruler.

or to say it another way, I think BPEL is an accurate penetration measurement.

OBVIOUSLY, this method doesn’t work for everyone. (and no one said it works for everyone)

But I agree it’s a good idea that for those who are straight enough to use a hard ruler to measure, this method would add consistency to the measurement, by removing the temptation to lean your head or the ruler to get that extra 1/8th of an inch.

I agree the measurements need to be consistent. I have seen pics on here of guys with a ruler directly on top of the penis and that is how they measure. I for one place the ruler along side of my penis to measure. Either way is correct as long as you measure from the same point of view each time. You will see the gains either way.
