A Laps In Discipline

Although I have been lerking around Thunder’s for the last month and I have been a member for past several weeks I must a admit that I have found suspension of masturbation more difficult than the PE exercises themselves.

I have been married over 10 years and have gone weeks even months without sex. However, I have never gone more than a few days without masterbating. Well, I held out for nearly 7 days as I started my PE routine this week. Unfortunately in the last 24 hours I have been unable to deny the urge twice.

I have two questions. First, just how important is reducing or eliminating masterbating to making PE gains? How in the F*** do you guys manage to refrain? The very nature of PE is to think about the penis more, to handle it more, to become nearly preoccupied with this quest.

I would be very interested to hear how the lords of discipline deal with this issue.

Where in the hell did you get the idea you have to quit masturbation to do PE?

Hey Thunder, thanks for giving us AZ residents a pass. GP - I was reading the PE Survey results. It seemed to indicate that masturbation adversely effected gains. Are you saying that is does not?

I would think part of the explanation of the poll result were that the ones which refrained from masturbating were just more disciplined in general. As in fewer skipped days, better concentration during the exercises.

I will only speak for myself. My results are better when I masturbate.

Thunder (or others), what would you say would be a reasonable frequency per week while still facilitating good gains?

transcend, IMO, ejaculation control and how it relates to cumulative tissue strain is what is the issue here. Control (i.e. delay/stop) it’s occurrence and one can do one’s tissue straining work to its optimum utility. Inability to do so limits one’s ability to perform one’s tissue straining work to its optimum utility. What I mean by that is that once one ejaculates, its very unlikely that further tissue straining work will be done. Over time, which is the biggest ally or the biggest foe of the PE practitioner, these differential tissue strains add up for the PE practitioner who gets in additional tissue strain compared to the PE practitioner who doesn’t.

Yeah. The less I masterbate, the easier it is to do exercises. I’m a lot less motivated post-ejaculation, which is why I prefer doing it once I’m done with PE or during my off day.
