A few questions preventing me from starting PE

A few questions preventing me from starting PE

Hi guys

I registered here a few years ago but got somewhat sidetracked with other things in life unfortunately, glad to be here at last!

Since then though I’ve done some more research and things have happened which mean I’m nervous about starting.

Firstly, about 3 months ago I noticed a lump on the underside of the right side of my shaft about halfway down. This lump only comes though after I have masturbated once and ejaculated, and have got a hard on second time around. It gets bigger as the erection gets stronger. On my first hard on it isn’t noticeable at all. I didn’t pay much attention to it until a couple of days ago but now have wised up I suppose.

I’ve done a bit of research and it could be a number of things, but I think it’s most likely to be a cyst as it feels sort of like one, but obviously don’t know for sure. What I do know though is that the lump isn’t as big as when it first came. We’re not talking a massive decrease, but it is smaller. This has coincided with a decrease in my activities, so I’m now going to give it a rest for 3-4 weeks to see if that clears it up. If not then I shall pay a visit to someone who has a better idea of these things!

The problem is this is driving me crazy now with the possible ramifications it could have for my PE, so I was wondering if anyone here could put my mind at ease in the meantime. If it doesn’t go and is a cyst or something but it’s not much to worry about, would it mean though that I couldn’t do PE? Or would it mean that I could only do low pressure stuff or something?

Part of me thinks that because it is only noticeable after I have masturbated, if I did the PE without masturbating at any point before or after, or only did so minimally afterward , then I could be able to, but I could be just trying to convince myself I suppose.

Secondly, if I do get the ok to start, I’m thinking of pumping. I read the warning to newbies about the venous leak, and noticed on the second page that some guys were speculating that there is a greater risk of doing this sort of damage with the more high-pressure activities, and lower pressure stuff like pumping could reduce the risk. Though it was a guess I know, but this what I wondered too, though I notice there hasn’t been anymore thought on this from what I can see further on in the thread.

But to coincide with that I have got the idea that pumping is the better way to go as you can better regulate the pressure you are putting in so it’s better to monitor progress etc, but I also just think it’s a safer, slightly or otherwise, method than jelqs etc, and I just don’t like the idea of doing some of the stuff that I have seen done in those exercises.

My question is though would it be ok to do pumping from the off? I read everywhere beginners routines, but they all contain jelqing etc, which as I say I’m not keen on doing, even as a sort of initiation.

I was planning on starting off with very low pressure with the pumping as a sort of initiation and building up gradually. I’m committed to this for a long period of time for this to work.

If it is a cist then that’s pretty serious, or not. Cists can be very bad, if you think that’s what it is then you should see a doctor. I’d see a doctor if I thought I had a cist even if it was just on my arm. Of course it could easily be something else. Any pain? Thrombosed vein is common but that normally would be something that happens AFTER you start PEing.

All PE involves risk. Venous leak is very rare but unavoidable if it’s going to happen to you.

As is stated over and over again on this forum. It is best that you do the newbie routine, or even a lighter version of it, if you want to be super careful.

Thanks Tweaking.

No there is no pain.

Also as I say it has gotten smaller which has given me the idea that it is just taking a long time to heal. I read somewhere too that some other guy had the same problem and a doc told him it was nothing to worry about as there are number of small ones on the penis and it just got a bit inflamed.

If it doesn’t go or show signs of improvement in this period that I’m going to give it rest then I will be visiting the doc.

My idea was that just doing some very light pumping (and I couldn’t tell from looking through some threads about the particular subject) could be better or an equal alternative as an initiation than doing the newbie routine, but if it’s not then it’s not and I will do the newbie routine, all being well.

I used to have a cyst on the underside of my penis, maybe 5-10 mm below frenulum, around 2-3 mm in diameter. It wasn’t visible while I was flaccid, but I could feel it with fingers. It was visible when I got erect. It didn’t hurt and it was just an aesthetic problem, but it bothered me and I decided to get it removed surgically. Result of surgery was 1 or 2 stitches that fell out 6-7 days later, some bruising that went away after few weeks and no scar at all. Me happy. :)

Nice to hear you got it sorted UpTo7.

I’ve read that about cysts elsewhere and they say like you that it was there when flaccid, which mine isn’t, or at least I can’t feel it, which makes me nervous that it’s something else, like some sort of blockage like a lymphocele.

The one crumb of comfort which I’m holding on to is that it hasn’t got bigger and has got smaller, which I hope suggests that it’s healing but I suppose I could be fouling myself.

I’m just gonna give it sustained rest, which I haven’t done (longest period was about 10 days through working I think) and see how it goes.

Get it looked at and, if a cyst, removed.

Your safest bet is visiting a urologist, that’s the only way to know for sure.

Totally agree. I’d high-tail it to a urologist ASAP. Probably nothing too serious, but still.

Hey guys.

So I left the lump for 3 weeks and it has now gone.

The things is I have a similar lump now lower down from where that one was on a sort of ending of a bit of tissue that is bigger than the lower part of my shaft when erect, it is also right underneath a vein but it is not the vein itself. Again it has the same symptoms (not there when I first masturbate, appears on the 2nd, not noticeable when soft).

What I think I have is poor circulation because I’m not very fit and this causes a bit of lymphangiosclerosis, but not total as I’ve read it’s noticeable when soft, but it’s not for me. So when I put quite an amount of pressure on the area in particular it can’t handle it and when the pressure reaches a certain point it sort of pops, combined with perhaps I went a little too aggressive after such a period without doing anything.

Also I think this because straight after I came I went and put it in a hot wrap for 7-8 minutes. I then got another hard on and I couldn’t feel the lump, it was just the normal feeling of the tissue going hard like when I get my first hard on in a session.

I have read though that it can require surgery if this appears on many occasions in the form of a number of lesions so I’m mindful of that.

Anyway I’m gonna give it another week or so and see if this lump heals, but I’m trying to lose some weight before I start my PE anyway so after I’ve lost my weight I’m gonna visit the doc/urologist and see what they say. That’s unless the lump gets worse in the mean time in which I shall pay a visit sooner.

Thanks for the advice of visiting the urologist though guys - I know it’s something I’m going to have to do at some stage. Perhaps I’m a fool for not going sooner but with the one lump clearing up it gives me a bit of hope that it’s nothing too serious and I can treat myself.

No, just go see the urologist. Really. Don’t fuck around with lumps in your dick - Figuratively and literally. I suspect what’s keeping you is the safety of not knowing, instead of knowing something bad. But, really, get it looked at. If it’s nothing, then you know, if it’s something, well; The sooner you treat it, the better.

I mean, if a woman said she found a lump in her breast, you’d tell her to get it looked at ASAP, right? Don’t treat your cock worse. Respect the cock.

You are right, Bullet Hell and the other guys who have said the same.

I’m booking an appointment.

Your penis came to me in an astral dream and said “Thank Bangy for me, for I will never have a voice of my own. Now you must help the unicorn find the banana king!” That WAS a weird dream. Anyway, your penis said thanks. Take care.

:Rolling:

Paid a visit to my GP this morning.

He reckon it’s nothing serious as it would be noticeable when flaccid if it was.

Had a look himself and didn’t see/feel anything so reckons it’s a bit of scar tissue or there may be some little gaps in the tissue and so when there’s pressure and fluid moving about it causes a temporary blockage of some sort, but again he said if it was anything serious then it wouldn’t go back to natural state etc.

Gonna give it another week to see if there’s any improvement even so and also find a urologist (thought my GP would refer me to one so I wouldn’t have to pay, hence going to see my GP first, but turns out it would be a private referral) for a check up before I start, but I’m hopeful that I’ll be able to get my regime going soon!

Again thanks for the advice guys!
