Kegels will help control ejaculation and makes the penis bounce up and down which is sorta cool. It does help with blood flow in a way. They are good for over all pelvic floor health, do them.
Grip, not to hard, not to light. You want to be able to move blood into the surrounding tissues of the CC and CS. You will be able to figure out what the best grip is for you. The newbie routine is designed to be a guideline, it isn’t written in concrete, modify it as you need to as far as number of jelqs, tightness of grip etc. Check out the favorites link in my signature and read up on Physiological Indicators so you will know if you are getting positive or negative PI’s.
