3 Months No Gain

Definitely don’t up intensity! PE isn’t something you can force. Like anything else, to be good and gain, you have to work at it and perfect what works best for you. What works for one doesn’t work for all. You could add some stretches during bathroom breaks. You could add a short morning routine or evening routine opposite of your current routine. But it needs to be half of the time you PE now or less.

“Slow and steady wins the race!”

Starting 10/09/17: BPEL 7” & MSEG 4.75”

Current 12/18/17: 7 1/2" BPEL & 5" MSEG

Goal: BPEL 9” & MSEG 6”

If he’s not gaining since 3 months, why would he gain later on doing what he’s doing? It’s clearly not working. Apparently I’m missing something?

Yes, you are. Adding intensity at this point is foolish. It took me about six months before I saw gains. In this case more isn’t better.

It took you 6 months of doing the same thing without results before finally seeing gains? You certainly have more patience than I do. I usually make an evaluation on a monthly basis to determine whats working. If I don’t gain in a month, I sure as hell don’t gain anything after that if I don’t make a change. To each their own.

I guess what I meant to say was increasing reps, which is apparently volume. Not intensity.

Be patient. Gains take time. Check your PI’s and EQ. Be consistent and stick to your guns. When you think of gains you have to think in terms of years, not months. If I average out my gains in terms of months, then I gained about a millimeter a month. But over years they add up to over 3 inches in gains. If it was easy the whole world would be doing it. Think of PE as body building. It doesn’t happen over months. It takes years of dedication to see results.

I don’t know how you view PE but it’s a long process and if you don’t have the fortitude to persevere you won’t gain. 6 months is nothing in the big picture. For me PE is a life long process to keep my dick healthy and growing but healthy first.

I’ve only been performing PE on and off for about two years now. I haven’t consistently done PE for more than a year straight. I started at 7x5 and my new stats are now in my signature. I think this the only forum that tells people to keep doing the same thing for months on end with no progress.

No we told him to be consistent and to think in terms of years not months. I tell guys to stick what theyre doing if they’re gaining if not change it up but in his case, 3 months really

Nobody except myself told him to change it up because what he was doing wasn’t working. Just telling someone to be consistent is like telling him to keep doing what has produced him NOTHING. He should be evaluating sooner than a year.

I recommend a month because it’s enough time to know what’s working and what’s not, and getting an understanding of how your routine will have an effect on your EQ.

If he gained, he shouldn’t change anything. But that’s not the case.

So you feel after 1 month of PE not 1 month after a year but just 1 month he should change it up?
This guy started 3 months ago and did maybe 2 consecutive months admittedly not consistent in his approach but you feel he should has change it. Great advice bro

Based on that advice I should have quit along time ago

What kind of logic is that? Who said anything about quitting PE?

I didn’t tell him to quit PE if he didn’t see any gains, I told him to add more reps. That’s the change I recommended he made.

Once my gains stopped, I added more volume and my gains started back up again.

He simply hasn’t done PE long enough to know if it’s working or not. I do not encourage more frequency or intensity like you originally recommended. More doesn’t equate to more when you’re just beginning.
