3 Months in. Thinking about clamping.

3 Months in. Thinking about clamping.

I completed the newbie routine with an additional Uli, and Inverted V stretch to the mix.
At first I thought I was going to run into trouble when I decided to add in two different things to my routine that aren’t really recommended.
However, It turned out to be just fine, and I didn’t really run into any injury problems or obstacles that hindered my gains.
I made progress, and I am happy about it. The Uli definitely impacted the base of my unit, but MEG and anything up above that
didn’t really change.

I’m thinking about starting to clamp tonight, but I heard there is things that have to be monitored during a session.
My main concern is injuries. I am willing to take this session lightly if only I can evade these injuries. Not really frustrated
to race towards my goal, and I’m really happy so far with the jump in EQ and Girth.

Some questions I had about the clamp is:
When I buy the clamp, do I attach it to the bottom of my base ?

I saw some clamps at menards that were like a buck each, but it looks like you can’t really attach them to the base because part of the clamp(the plastic)
will push out against the pelvic wall due to it’s shape, and loose focus on whatever you are clamping. Now unless some custom
modification such as cutting or trimming is done, then I can actually see it work.

Is this also a good thread to reference clamping ? I assume so because of the starts, lol. But I’d like to hear from the pro’s.
I know there was one made by Big Girtha, but I can’t find that one.

Clamping 101 - The clamping guide

Big girtha’s thread is a good one. For the first week or 2, Wrap you unit, like you should and ratchet the clamp until you feel some slight pressure for 5 or 10 minutes
and leave it at that. After a few days, give the clamp one click. You must condition for clamps as well or you will get the red dots that will eventually turn black. In other words,
you must ease yourself into clamping. Everything we do here is dangerous to our units. Be smart, listen to your cock, if it hurts, STOP!. Customize it, don’t fuck it up.

Good luck with your future gains.

What are your gains so far?

Nothing really notorious. I’m at about 5.0 in Girth for my base, and about 6.625 in BPEL.

Do you happen to have the Big Girtha thread ?

Curious, what were your starting measurements three months ago?

I’m still not on the same chapter here.

What exactly does he mean by squeezing out the stale blood, and how exactly is that done ?
I’m not exactly too sure about the horse 440. Is that just like a reverse jelq down, starting from the top of the glans ?

I’m a little lost about the wrapping that’s described in the clamping thread too.

What exactly do the wraps do ? And how do they benefit when clamping. I’m actually headed to a hardware
store at the moment because I’ve seen some clamps I wanted to get, but never really had a chance to.

I really want to do this, because I just had another gain in the girth department due to Uli’s. :] Very excited.
Girth seems to be picking up real quick.

When you look around at some of the biggest girth gainers around here, a good number of them have utilized clamping. However, clamping seems to be rather notorious for killing EQ. Which is enough for me to stay away from it at the moment, at least when there are other viable options.

Considering that you’re so new to PE, I would highly recommend giving low pressure pumping a try first. From what I’ve read here over the last year, pumping can give just as good and just as ‘permanent’ gains as clamping does, only with less risk (IF you stay at 5hg or preferably even lower, and use reasonable times - see the Pumping 101 thread and any post by gprent or sparyx for info on this).
I hardly ever see complaints of poor EQ from pumping. Of course they’re out there, but usually the culprit is improper practice. On the other hand, I can’t tell you how many threads I’ve seen where people’s EQ got destroyed (or other scary injuries) due to what many would consider light, rather conservative clamping.

Pumping seems much safer to me, offers the same immediate gratification of temporary expansion (followed by permanent expansion with consistency and time), and seems to actually improve people’s erection quality over the long run. Not to bash clamping, but for me, I’m saving it as a last resort for when everything else stops working for girth. You cannot deny the huge gains made by people who clamp - but you also cannot deny the more hefty risks it can carry.

I say, if you’re after girth, save the clamping as a last resort, and definitely try pumping first. People see huge gains with pumping and report many less side effects, so I can’t see what the harm could be in trying it out first. Clamping is the most ‘advanced’ type of PE available (IMO), and you’re only 3 months into this my friend! You might gain more in the long run by saving the most extreme exercises for last. Spend some time in the Penis Pump Forums, read anything you can by gprent, avocet, sparyx, sta-kool, peforeal, and lampwick. You’ll see tons of people who have gained .5” girth and more in relatively short periods of time, and improved their EQ and vascularity as well.

Clamping works, but it’s extreme! Something I’d say would be more appropriate for a 1 or 2 year vet of PE, not 3 months in! It’s your call though buddy, I wish you the best of luck either way!

Pumping actually has an effect on longterm stable girth ?

I thought people pump just for the fun of it or as a hobby to see a “temporary” increase ?

I’m trying to maintain a Penis where I don’t have to pump all the time to reach my targeted goals, especially for girth.

I’ll take a look at those threads and see what I find. Thank you for the massive amounts of info, really helped out a lot.

Glad I caught you in time! You’ll find that with any form of PE (yes, any), you will need to do some light maintenance work about two times per week or so in order to keep (cement) your gains. If you don’t do this, you will more than likely lose your gains. There are so many cases of great gains being lost due to complete inactivity (completely stopping all PE)…Wadzilla for one, and Bennett8, who gained like 2 inches in length and has the best photographic proof of penis enlargement of anyone I’ve ever seen: 2-inch Growth Comparative Pictures

You’ll note that after two solid years of PE (manual stretching only), he had completely transformed his anatomy for the better. Just two months of absolutely zero PE, however, and he lost half an inch! He gained it back in the end with more work. You can see all of this in that thread I listed above…it’s a progress log which spans about 4-5 years of time.

Don’t lament about it though - just be glad that others have found this out for you already! Maintenance doesn’t require the same amount of work that it took to get your gains, so that’s a good thing.

Also, the fact that you don’t know that pumping gives permanent gains tells me you need to do three things: read, read, and READ!!! Get on these forums whenever you can and immerse yourself. Over time you’ll find better and better ways to utilize and search out the information on these forums, and you’ll become better at researching things. There are so many useful tools on this site, many of them that I’m just now discovering after a year frequently spent here.

One thing that might have confused you is that in the old days (2001, 2002, etc), the general consensus was that pumping did not produce permanent gains. This was because people back then were advocating higher pressure (sometimes insanely high pressures - always dangerous) and longer times. You were right - they WERE using pumping as a novelty! Guys used it to get massive expansion in the tube (unsafe), but would then suffer w/ EQ problems, no gains and small flaccids afterwards.

Now, we know better, and know that pumping PROPERLY (low pressures, reasonable times such as starting out at less than ten minutes) will lead to permanent results over time, as well as thicker flaccid hangs for many. If you read anything over the next few days, I highly recommend you check out this progress report by Sta-Kool: sta-kool’s Icicle Diary

He starts out at 4.5” mseg and gains .5” of girth in less than 5 months with proper pumping. Note that he eventually took the jelqs between pump sessions out of his routine, and found that he gained more this way! He gained more by doing LESS.
Another member to check out is a guy called peforeal. If you look at his post history, he’s one of the guys that started out back in 2001 (but was pumping even before then), and had the opinion that pumping couldn’t bring permanent results. He was also using those crazy high pressures I was talking about.
If you look at his more recent posts, you’ll see that over time he has completely changed his views, now pumps at lower pressures and is one of the biggest girth gainers on these forums due to pumping. I think he gained almost 2” in girth, but it’s important to note that this was done over a period of years and years.

Bottom line - pumping works and is permanent. Once again, I must highly recommend you try it before clamping! Take a few days and do some research and I’ll bet you’ll like the idea more and more.
Good luck with everything, happy reading!

PS: you wrote: ‘I thought people pump just for the fun of it or as a hobby to see a “temporary” increase ?’ This is indeed what pumping was used for in the early days, as people could get crazy expansion of an inch or more, which definitely isn’t safe. However, with low pressure pumping (the correct way), there is still this expansion effect after a certain number of times pumping. The average expansion at low pressures and reasonable times is about .25” , which is still a considerable amount of girth to play with and enjoy after your session. Over time, these ‘temporary’ increases become permanent. It’s also important to know that this is real, useable girth. Not some squishy edema floating around, but real expansion of the CS and CC’s. You’ll read this in Sta-Kool’s diary, where he says that his new, fatter penis is harder than ever.

One last thing then I’ll shut up - in the ‘Icicle Diaries’ thread I listed above, Sta-Kool achieved all these gains utilizing a conservative 1 day on, 2 days off routine. So you won’t have to pump ‘all the time’ to attain you goals, as you alluded to in your post. Taking the conservative approach first is a good thing, in my opinion, and much harder to do than jumping in head first and beating your dick into the dirt. Remember that rest days are even more important than workout days. Your body must be allowed to heal in order to grow.
