3 Days In - A Question

I’ve gone through 2-3 months of Newbie Routine PE before, but I’ve had a lot happen since then (and did dry jelqs instead of wet jelqs), so wanted to ask some questions to make sure I’m doing things right and not risking injury.

Here is my simple routine:

5 minute warm-up with heating pad
Manual stretches (up, right, down, left, holding 30 seconds, repeat)
100 2-3 second jelqs
Starting to kegal now (50 2 second holds)
5 minute warm-down with heating pad

So far my EQ has not changed, but I have not hit my first rest day (which is tomorrow). Here are a few things I’m noticing. I believe they are all ok, but thought I would check.

1. I exercise shortly after PE. I notice during and after my exercise I’m usually turtled. I’m assuming this is somewhat normal as blood is flowing to other parts of my body to help the muscles recover. Correct?

2. I notice when I sit down I turtle more often. Is this common?

3. Is it best to kegal when flaccid, turtled, erect, etc?

So far I have not noticed any negative PI’s, but it is still early on. I need to start paying attention to night wood and morning wood more often (know I woke up with one this morning, although not incredibly hard, still there).

Also, I’m wondering if my diet my have some effect. The diet I’m on now is higher protein and lesser carb, but I’m not consuming an incredibly low amount of carbs (under 200 grams a day though). Will this have an effect on EQ?

Waiting to see what tomorrow brings, being my rest day.

There is usually some turtling after exercise no matter what you do. The issue should “resolve” itself in the shower after the workout though.

Have never noticed anything like that.

Doesn’t really matter. You’ll get a bit more work doing them erect (while standing) because you’ll be kegeling more weight (more blood in the penis) but otherwise it’s no real difference.

I’ve never found diet to have a serious effect on EQ but I have been on the healthy side all my life. Low carb or not shouldn’t affect EQ at all and hasn’t for me.

As long as your eating healthy, it shouldn’t matter. I’ve read threads on TP about caffeine having an effect on their penis. Drink a lot of coffee?

Did you receive any gains within the first 2-3 months?

Actually, I drink no caffeine currently. I’m eating a fairly clean diet overall: Lots of lean meats, vegetables, moderate to little dairy, and my carb intake is currently low (about to increase, though, as it is almost too low for me to have the energy to get through all of my day).

The first time I really dedicated myself to this for a time, I did see gains. My lengths gains were around .75” and girth gained around .25”. The length gains have held pretty well but the girth gains did not.

I think part of the EQ problems I may be experiencing is medical as well. I had an allergic reaction to cephelexin (which caused EQ problems when I was on it….no morning wood, very difficult to get hard, hardly any arousal, etc) and they have put me on prednisone to take care of the reaction. I have done some reading and it appears that the EQ problems could very well be related to the steroid. I’ll be glad to get off of meds so my penis will work as it should.

The good news is, last night and today I have had better EQ (not as strong as I want, but plan on bettering that over time). I’m working on adding more kegals in during the day and during the routine to help with that as well.
