2d:4d ratio and penis size

2d:4d ratio and penis size

Recently I’ve been researching on the subject of digit ratio, particularly on 2d:4d ratio. It goes like this: people with an average or more amount of prenatal testosterone tend to have a ring finger longer than the index finger (low 2d:4d ratio) which is found in most men. People with an index finger as long as the ringer finger, or even longer, tend to have less prenatal testosterone and an increase in prenatal estrogen, which is found in most women. To get a 2d:4d ratio, measure the ring and index finger from the tip to the furthest crease and divide the ringer finger by the index finger’s length. The average male has a 2d:4d ratio of about .96 to .98, while women are usually around 1. What I am curious about is if there could be a link found between 2d:4d ratio and penis size.

Hey Gotem. If you want to get some sort of formula or equation, then you will have to get some means of guys measuring their testosterone level.

Then you could get a poll going but, I guess yu are stuck with the problem of the T level.

Psst! The link is at the bottom of the page :bigwink:

First you say for most men ring finger > index finger, then later you say ring finger / index finger is smaller than 1 which means that index finger > ringfinger.

So what is it?

Yea I’m with Piet I’m a bit confused, I’m either 1.1 or .9090, I’m guessing I’m .90 because my ring finger > index finger.

To clarify, if the ring finger > index finger, then prenatal testosterone levels were high.

Get girth is right. To obtain 2d:4d ratio you must divide the ring finger by the index finger (sorry, I have a tendency to make errors in my writing ;) ). For more info there is an article on Wikipedia: Digit ratio - Wikipedia

I myself have a proportionally high 2d:4d ratio of about .99-1.01, though it is hard to say because it depends on the angle (I’ll make a 2d:4d ratio based on a photocopy of my hand soon). My my pre-PE NBPEL is about 5.8, which is a bit shorter than the norm

5.8 NBPEL for Pre PE isn’t shorter then the norm. Average size in surveys is usually between 5.5-6.0 but this is for BPEL. With NBPEL being shorter, how much depending on the size of each persons fat pad. Average fat pad is between 0.5-1.0.
