2 months in, no gains

2 months in, no gains

Really now?

Looks and feels bigger.

Measuring tape says different.

Following the newbie routine.. Time to turn it up a notch or what?

I am bigger flacid.

I would say go to the newbie + advanced routine. I know what you mean about it feeling bigger but not measuring that way. It might actually be slightly bigger because of the improved EQ giving it a fuller feeling but it may just be too minute of a difference to catch on a measuring tape. Good work though and good job sticking with it. If making it the advanced routine doesn’t help or seems pointless I’d say that you could possibly increase the number of jelqs or the intensity, or maybe even add some dry-jelqs.

good luck,

house

So I should start mixing them up?

In truth, two months isn’t much.

Which is why we recommend at least three months for the newbie routine.

That it feels fuller, heavier, and the flaccid is larger: these are all good signs. It means your unit is adjusting to the stresses you are putting on it just fine.

I assume your erection quality has improved? If so, another good sign.

If you are doing 50 Kegels a day, you can kick that up. Maybe increase your jelqing a bit.

Whatever changes you elect to make, be very conservative.

As it stands, you are on the right road; don’t get overzealous and head toward injury.

PE takes time.

Thanks for that extra tid bit Mr.Happy.

I will just up the kegels and jelqs along with intensity then, while keeping the newb routine.

No problem, my friend.

The thing is, the ruler may not be saying much right now, but those other indicators aren’t nothing. They’re good.

A basic rule: you can never do too many Kegels. They can’t hurt you, ever, and they definitely improve erection strength. I should qualify this: by Kegels I mean those done flaccid either before or after a work-out routine.

The muscle is much like the abdominals, in that you can work it out hard every day without fear of injury.

There is some debate over what is optimum and what is just extra work that has no real added value, but you can figure that out on your own, and you can’t really hurt yourself by overdoing these.

I do them on my commute. Or any time I catch myself in a situation of unrepentant boredom (chick flicks or whatever). No one will have the slightest idea what you’re up to and it really does help. The trick is to breathe normally as you squeeze and hold the Kegel: a five second squeeze, a five second hold, a five second release = one; repeat 50 times and then come back to it later in the day, and do another 50.

With Jelqing you have to be more careful, as too much can over-fatigue you and cause recoil. Every week add 10 more Jelqs and see how it goes. If it starts to recoil on you, knock it back down to previous levels.

Stretches should be held for 20-30 seconds and breathed into, like stretches you do for running. You can increase these as well, try an extra five in all directions after a week. If it works out then proceed through the next week with those extra five.

In all of this, though, you have to really tune in to your body - the temptation is to push it, but this can really backfire so when you feel like “Hell, a little more won’t kill me.” That’s the time to really exercise caution and self-control.

You want to do this stuff gently, with the approach that is akin to physical therapy or even orthodontics (just for example); they up the tension and let it ride for a month or so - giving your body time to adjust.

With PE we want to ride the crest of that adjustment without wiping out into injury. That way we can enjoy the function even as we work to improve it. :)

Stay the course. I had no gains for 5 - 6 mos.

It’s true.

Like the man says, there’s a lot of merit to leaving well enough alone.

I didn’t see any gains until the end of my 4th month. Patience and consistency are very important.

Is this before you started pumping?

I started pumping first, then learned later about the other manual exercises which I gradually incorporated into the pumping routine. In those days, I didn’t even know what jelq meant. :)

If it helps any, I’ve completed a month and some, and seen almost nothing but flaccid increases, so patience is definitely a good plan. Come back in two months and see if it’s grown. I’d point out avocet’s comment about almost half a year, look at his gains in the stats. :O

As of 1/1/2009 - 6.25" BPEL // 5.0" EG

Yeah, I’ve had the same as you. Been on for about 3 months now, and just over a week ago I measured and saw no actual length gains. In fact sometimes my boners looked more compressed than usual, although my EQ has improved imo. Asides that, my flaccid length is looking much more satisfactory, not to mention it’s got a little meatier. My smallest boners are also larger than they used to be, so I’m just hoping with dedication and brains I may start meandering up the ruler sometime soon.

Well that sucks. but plenty of guys don’t gain for many months even with doing everything right. I had no gains for the first 4+ months if I recall correctly.

By all means start reading up on mo’ trickier PE than just the newbie routine but don’t actually impliment any changes as of yet.

Running a Massive Co-Front.

Like a lot of you have said, my flaccid is what has really, really, really, increased. That’s about it haha.

Glad to know I am not the only one in this boat.
