18, Erection problem

Don’t spend money on vitamins and supplements, they will do nothing - in the best of cases, a slight improvement for while due to the placebo effect.

If your problem doesn’t go better with PE after some months, ask for some exams on your penis. I would also suggest taking a week or two off from lifting weights, just to see if physical exaustion hasn’t a role.

If you think herbs and amino acids only cause placebo effect, you haven’t researched and experimented enough. Where do you think prescription medicine like Viagra comes from??? Nobody argues against its efficacy. Just the same, if you take Arginine, Catuaba and Tribulus it’ll prove itself.

I’ve gotten bad cases of the infamous “hard flaccid penis” several times. Each time I am injured, I supplement with herbs, amino acids and antioxidants as well as other simple things like hot wrap. This works like a charm, and actually aids in the healing.

Not only do these herbs, etc. have the potential to make your dick harder, they can actually expand its size for the duration that you take them. And like I mentioned, they can also help reverse ED or injury issues.

This isn’t some woohoo gypsy bullshit. This is real. :-)

Do you think I should go with Tribulus instead of yohimbine?

Here we go again. Why don’t you post your sources?

I believe Yohimbe is known to pose some health risks.

"Numerous case reports and uncontrolled studies raised hopes that ginkgo might be an effective treatment for sexual dysfunction in men or women, particularly in those cases related to certain antidepressant medications.23-27 However, the results of a number of double-blind studies (see Why Does this Database Rely on Double-blind Studies?) indicate that ginkgo is no more effective than placebo, whether or not subjects are taking antidepressants."

"Data showed that compared with placebo Maca had no effect on any of the hormones studied nor did the hormones show any changes over time. Multiple regression analysis showed that serum testosterone levels were not affected by treatment with Maca at any of the times studied (P, not significant). In conclusion, treatment with Maca does not affect serum reproductive hormone levels."

However, there is as yet no real evidence that they offer any benefits. "

Right on that.

Started the newbie routine today. Did it this morning, and just now get a harder than normal erection. It went away quick though, as usual. I guess it’s a start.

Marinera, you are an intelligent, level-headed person. I agree with a lot of the things you assert, but clearly we disagree on this point. The only reason I am unwilling to concede is because I know that herbs and amino acids can lend a lot of assistance to certain people. In the grand scheme of things I don’t recommend relying on herbs because A) they can potentially have long-term health risks, and B) that they give a false representation of where you really are with your PE. But you’ve got to realize, the premise to (B) is that the supplements can be very powerful.

I don’t take a lot of herbs these days because I seriously feel that they make my penis larger than it actually is. And without ANY doubt, they make my boners hard as steel. And as you know, without any herbs I have very strong erections due to my passion for semen retention. But we won’t go there because it’s a whole different can of worms. But the point is that the herbs and amino acids do work, I know it for a fact, and when people are struggling with weak erections L-Arginine and others can be of great service.

Any studies that suggest otherwise are flukes. I know of 10 or more herbs that, if I took them independently (that is without being in combination with another), they will markedly increase my erections, staying power, and even size. Dude, have you ever heard of Stamina-RX??? That stuff might not be healthy, but it will give new meaning to the word BONE-r. And there’s a pill called Rize2 that swells your dick up like a bowling pin. Man, I have done so much extensive, first-hand experimentation with this stuff that I am practically an expert on the subject. I know about aphrodisiacs that aren’t even known as aphrodisiacs. For example, LSD is one of the most powerful ones on the planet. Same with mushrooms. These don’t just “get me in the mood”. They blow my cock up to an amazing size and enable me to ejaculate 10+ times.

Anyway, off my pedestal. As a general rule, I recommend against herbs. For folks with any erection problems or injuries, I always recommend dosing up on herbs and amino acids because, in my personal experience, they work VERY well.

Nice. Go easy, don’t overdo and you should see a more noticeable improvement in the 2d week.

We disagree less than it could seem at a first glance.

I would draw a line between supplements and herbs, although sometimes the difference is thin. Most of supplements simply do nothing - their effects are just based on suppositions and popular rumors, so at the end one can feel an improvement because there is suggestion at work.

Herbs, this is another pair of boots. Most of herbs recommended, they have some little effect on healthy people, but if there is a physiologic problem they do nothing. For example, when I have a good EQ, taking tribulus for some weeks enhance even more my horniness. But once I had very bad EQ, we could say a period of ED; guess what? Taking tribulus did nothing.

For the mentioned reasons, I don’t chime in that much when people speaks about supplements to enhance their EQ, if those who are speaking are healthy and not too young people.

Other herbs do work and are powerful, but they have serious side effects. You said about yohimbine; another one is belladonna; it does works but it is a venom. And many herbs also cause addiction.

So, summing it up: the OP has erection issues at 18. The problem could be physical, psychological or both. Supplements will do little or nothing but thinning his wallet. Herbs : those who can work aren’t safer (or cheaper) than medicines; if PE doesn’t help restoring some vascular issue down there, better speaking with a MD to see if there is a way to fix it without taking medicines (or herbs) for the rest of his life.

That’s my point of view, hope it makes sense.

Do you really think the problem is psychological? Can a psychological problem effect me from getting hard erections for the last 1 and a half to almost 2 years? It’s almost seeming like it is, but I can’t believe it. The only reason I’m second guessing it, is because the first time I ever had an erection problem was because of performance anxiety. I went to have sex with a random girl that I just met and for some reason I was so nervous and I shriveled up. But it seems like since then I’ve acquired a different erection problem, because of the weak morning/spontaneous erections, and not being able to get a raging boner at all not even during masturbation.. OK, so lets say the problem is psychological. How would I go about fixing it? It seems like it’s almost impossible to erase this from my mind since it’s been haunting me for a very long time now.

It sounds like you have both a psychological and a physical problem. The second one sounds like poor blood flow in your penis; I had this kind of problem, and jelq worked pretty well. If jelqs won’t work, I think you should do some exams, as said.

The pyschological problem is born probably with the experience you counted; then it was worsened by the physiological one : if you feel that your erections aren’t that hard, just thinking to have sex with a girl kills even more the EQ. So, try fixing the physical problem first, than you can fix the psychological one; what is needed is just a couple of intercourses with the right girl.

Jelqing and kegels are obviously very good for EQ.

I am, however, definately an advocate of herbal supplements to enhance EQ. As far as I’m concerned, there’s no doubt they can help. Even if the effect is placebo, which I do not accept, if the ‘placebo’ works then as far as I’m concerned, the supplement worked. Herbal supplements helped me get over my psychological anxiety and now I use them whenever I think I might be nervous. The result is profound.

Care to mention the herbs?
