If you have anxiety problems you probably do not want to take a stimulant like Ritalin. Usually a stimulant will stimulate your anxiety and can actually make it more difficult to focus. If you really have major problems focusing in class and that sort of thing to degree that you feel it is significantly impacting your learning and grades, then you may want to talk to a doctor about the possibility of taking an anti-anxiety medication along with an ADD medication (all stimulants except Strattera which has very low efficacy). Of course, the best is getting by just fine without taking anything. But to answer your question, stimulants and anxiety problems tend to be a bad combination.

Thank you vkn1, i never used anything. Ritalin don’t combine with anxiety. Maybe the best is just stay with the problem. When I’m exercising and eating healthy, everything gets better.

Hi. ADD and anxiety aren’t a good combo because all add drugs have potential to stir up your anxiety. Ritalin isn’t as good as Adderal or Vyanese for study and focus those limp my cock like cocaine does and kills my appetite. I don’t always take Ritalin; I used to. Ritalin increases my anxiety a little bit after the drug leaves my system.

the issue is that there are no long term studies of tyrosine usage. so this therapy should only be used as a jump start for the brain while you are incorporating good foods with omega 3’s complex carbs and plenty of proteins and plenty of water.

+1 for tyrosine though.

Different brands work differently. I’ve tried wonder labs, now brand, but seem to have the best luck with vitamin shoppe brand.

If your taking 1G per dose, try 2G or 4 500mg capsules. Here’s what I do. I bust the capsules open, in the mouth, down the hatch on an empty stomach.

If 2G does not work, work your way up to 3500mg

Really sounds like a good supp. Too bad my anxiety won’t allow me to take it, but hell, I’m feeling too good of Maca right now to care! Great supplement, and the only adaptogenic that does anything for me. I always thought of ginseng and ginko as useless from personal experience.

That’s odd, I have anxiety as well and tyrosine does not add to it. I take st. johns and 5-htp as well.

Ah well I got scared away from tyrosine and have yet to try it because I read it may aggravate anxiety. I take 5-htp (only 50mg) at night along with my sleep stack (b6 and magnesium citrate) to help with sleep.

I may give it a try when I run out of some of the supps I do not plan on reordering like worthless tribulus.

I stopped the 5htp. It inhibits orgasm. But I was on 200mg a day. It also makes you a grouchy fuck too. I stopped and feel better. I believe my neurotransmitters are back to normal, as the tyrosine has no effect now.

So I’m off all supps and doing a 80 % alkaline / 20 % acidic diet

Basically small amount of protein (meat) 2x a day (lunch and dinner)

2 eggs in the am, raw in a green blended drink

Then I drink during the day, split apart of course about 2 more full blenders of green stuff (turnip mustard celery spinach) and whatever else is green with some grapes or an apple, so it doesn’t come back up and exit via my frign nostrils. I use water of course so you can drink it. The purpose is that your stomach doesn’t have to break it down as much. More absorbtion of the good stuff, IMO. However, It’s vile stuff the way I mix it.

I did a bowel cleanse with P+B shakes (google it) and I shit like 8’ of TOXIC CRAP. Immediately after that left my body, after 2 days of shakes, I felt like a new man.

Before that I was having all kinds of aches, lethargy, feeling like general shit. Well, I fell off the wagon when I got back on opiates after busted ribs and started eating processed crap again a while back.

So now I’m back on track and I can’t say enough about the green shakes. YOu need protein too though and the powder shit ain’t going to do it. You need fat and meat. Real foods. Real whole butter. Whole milk if your going to do milk (organic only) and snacks during the day. I got a nice cracker, WHEAT AND SALT (those are the ingredients) with a little quality garlic hummus. No cracker with 1000 ingredienets like Ritz or the other GARBAGE. Cracker should have wheat, salt and or flour, that’s it. WTF?

Nuts and berries durign the day too for snacks. Also Oat meal and banannas and apples. Oat meal does wonders for your libido IMO.

Doing this will make you feel good plus you’ll have the best shits of your life if you do 2 or > apples a day.

Besides that, I’m taking a B12 and fish oil, that’s it. I’m pretty much done with supps, other than the maca, horny goat weed, ginko and green tea extract powder I got from 1fast400. Quality stuff it is, as it smells and tastes horrific mixed with warm water. But I like punishment, I could drink piss if I had to, LOL. Disgusting food doesn’t bother me. If it works, I’ll do it. If I could feel like superman drinking 10-40 motor oil, I’d do that too.

I’d stay away from most of the pills though one you get back on track. Most of them are rubbish and only like 10-20% get absorbed. Then if your gut is not clean, your not going to absorb anything. Seratonin is synthesized in teh gut too. Notice a trend? More processed food than ever and more depression than ever.

There are good supps and vitamins. LEF.org has done some extensive testing with the absorbtion of supps and you know what? Most of the store bought ones are minimally absorbed. Their stuff however is stupid expensive. I’ll stick to getting my nutrients from food, as God intended.

Do you guys that take 5HTP feel that it works well, or does anything at all? I am interested in taking some to help me last longer, etc. Also, help my well-being and keep depression/anxiety out of the picture.


Invictus I kindly advice you to try paravol(it`s palo alto labs supl)it has made wonders for me mostly due increase testosterone level but as well it manage something with dopamine.I had problems with bipolar disorder and decreased libido, now I’m ready fuck :) .

Hey guys, just checking back. I bought a 5HTP supplement 100mg dose by Natures Bounty. I have taken it a few times and I love it. Raised my serotonin just where I needed it to be. Unfortunately, I haven’t bought anything to balance the dopamine levels out (Although I am taking adderall semi-weekly …its a dopamine reuptake inhibitor). So its ok as of right now. But I kindly advise anyone dealing with depression to check out any 5-HTP supplement, It will really work wonders for you.
