Now it’s crappy. Due to work I eat out most nights. For peak performance in life a clean diet is essential. Shop the outside isle of the grocery store. Stay away from processed foods.

I’m getting back in shape now and working on limiting portions and eating cleaner.

BF percentage has absolutely no validity of a healthy body and mind. Same with a body that is in shape, and full of muscles, or someone that can run a mile in 6 minutes.

It comes down to cardiovascular network, hormonal balance, vitamin and mineral levels, sleep, activity, attitude, perception, to name a few. Healthy is mostly diet, mostly that is. Diet is also the source.

The source of a healthy mind, the source of a healthy body. But, this is also something that is long term, and a lifestyle. You can’t be super healthy for one year and then be good for the rest of your life.

That being said, just do what makes you happy. But, you may never know how “happy” you could truly be if you were, healthier.

I have read this whole thread and I’m surprised no one asked about porn usage of the OP. I thought this was common knowledge these days.

I suspect porn usage affects way more men than we realize or want to believe. And the research shows younger men like the OP have it worse because their brains have been consuming large amounts of free internet porn many times years before they became sexually active with a real person.

Every man especially 40 or younger should read Your Brain on Porn. You may not want to believe it but it’s practically gospel especially for guys that grew up in the Internet age.

I can attest to the validity of the subject. I knew I had a problem when I realized my porn erections were way better quality than in real life sex.

Sounds like the problem could be that your body fat percentage is too low considering your erection issues are accompanied by others.

Your stated body fat percentage is enough to cause issues with hormones in some men. Considering the general inaccuracy of calculating body fat percentages, you might be at a much lower % than you realize and there are differences in subcutaneous fat and organ fat in this regard.

That was one thought I had… I think my experience of getting more sluggish erections previously has been partly due to doing too much jelqing, and too hard. I know people get good results with it, and I did it a lot before and it contributed to my own gains, but jelqing pushes blood both the right way and the wrong way via arteries and veins, and so for me I’m not doing that any longer in case it was a contributor to what I had. I think there is an Angion style jelq where more pressure is put on the underside of the shaft though in case you want to try.

So what is your diet then? If it contains animal based products then it could be a contributor.

I watched Game Changers on Netflix 1.5 weeks ago and immediately started a plant-based diet to give it a go. And so far, what I can say is that my morning wood hasn’t been like this for a long time… I can do about 250 kegels in the morning before it starts tailing off, never used to be able to do that many. It’s early days, but if it turns out that they are right, then it’s quite revolutionary compared to what we’ve always been told (that we need that meat, those eggs, that milk….)
