Visiting an urologist, need advice

Hey Powpow,
do you ever go to Ottawa? They have a Canadian Men’s Clinic there (and Toronto and Vancouver, too) and I would consider going there.

http://www.mensclinic.com/

I am not affiliated with them in anyway, but I am often underwhelmed with the level of treatment that you tend to get with government funded healthcare in Canada, and although you would have to pay your own $$ at the "Men’s Clinic", it may well be worth it!

Another thing I am wondering: you mentioned that you are "addicted to PE". Well, what happens ED-wise if you are not PEing? Do your erections get better/easier? I mean, PE has been known to cause ED, and (as I am sure you know) many people use Physical Indicators (like the ones you describe) as a sign that they are over-doing the PE, or doing it incorrectly.

My case really ain’t that bad at all. I can get erect pretty much whenever I want and I think that’s why this urologist considered I have no problem that’s worth any treatment. It just seems that I get a better erection when I’m on a consistent PE routine than when I’m not. I don’t think overtraining could be the source of the problem since PE always seemed to make the whole thing better.

This urologist I’m supposed to visit now works at a private clinic too. The test I will udergo costs 250$!! This doctor is supposed to be a specialist in ED cases. It should be pretty good but thanks for the tip anyway.

So if you don’t touch your dick after you get it hard, it would go limp without manually stimulation, in 45 sec? Isnt this normal?

No, not necessarily for me. When I was young I’d have raging hardons for the longest time, and also today I’ll keep it longer without manual stimulation - under the condition that there is mental stimulation. If I start thinking of other things I’ll likely loose it regardless of manual stimulation.

Taped onto the dashboard of a car at a junkyard, I once found the following: "Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement." The car was crashed.

Primary goal: To have an EQ above average (i.e. streetsmart, compassionate about life and happy) Secondary goal: to make an anagram of my signature denoting how I feel about my gains

Advocet and Mravg gave great advice, venous leacage not likely, if so, repair the leak, eat a hand full of walnuts everyday, and take vitamin “C”1000mg per day and B12 100-300mcg per day along with a multible vitamin.

Propecia sucks, I’d rather lose all my hair than lose erections, take it from someone who had complete ED.

Something to be said for Ginko biloba causes great erections takes 14 days to take full effect.

Your urologist will probably send you to a general practitioner to have a complete blood trst done to rule out artheriosclerosis ant arteriosclerosis.
High blood pressure and diabetes.

This problem can be effectively treated with a few dietary changes.
Eat zinc rich foods s/a lean beef, eggs whites only, oysters, lean chicken.
Supplements: Omega three fatty acids. Glutamine, arginine, Zinc.

For erection quality: if you have low blood pressure take gensing s/a Red Panax or American gensing.
If you have high blood pressure take 60 to 240mg of Ginko Biloba.

Ginko biloba has the ability to trump sexual side effefts of SSRI”S, and other medications that are for the mind.

From your Urologist ask:
Could it be hypertension, diabetes, hypothyroid disease.

If these natural things don’t work try viagra, lavitra or cialis if these fail perhaps HRT hormone replacement therapy may do the trick, S/a thyroid hormone or testosterone replacement or both.

Speak softly carry a big dick, I'm mean stick!

Thanks again for all the good advice guys.

I decided to put the whole urologist thing on the ice for a while because:
1-the test I have to do is pretty expensive
2-really, it’s not that much of a problem and to be completely honest, I’ve been having the best sex of my life for the past 2 months.

On top of that, I have a bad infection in my foot so I’ve had my share of visits to the hospital recently.

Don’t worry be happy, that’s what I’m doing. I started a pretty intense kegels routine. We’ll see if that helps. I also stopped drinking coffee and started supplementing 25 mg zinc/day (I’ll start some glutamine and creatine as soon as my foot gets better). I might also give a try to ginko.

Kingpole:
How can these foods and supps “repair the leak”? + thanks for good tips!
