Unpleasant odor coming from genitals and thighs

Sorry this isn’t PE related but I have to tell someone.
Ok heres the story. It was several years ago (about 6 yrs) when I got really bad jock itch (a sort of fungus that affects the thigh). The area surrounding my genitals in my thigh area would get bad rashes and all. It still left a mark. I started using fungal cream and around a few months ago there was no visible sign of any fungus infection on my thighs. I was clean. However I would get this unpleasant odor from my genitals. I don’t know why or how. I mean I clean my penis thoroughly (more than the average person), the odor the past few months seemed to have dissipated but this week that odor came back, not as bad but still I can smell it now and then. I try bending over to get a better sniff but it’s really hard.

Do any of you know had the same problem? This is really concerning and I don’t know what to do about it.

Clean your ass, thoroughly. After your shower use a medicated powder like Gold Bond on your ass and balls. Once you keep the area clean and dry you will not have a problem.

Gold Bond is kinda like a man’s talcum powder. It’s really good at keeping things dry and keeping things from chaffing. We used it when we ran x-country, and it was like magic. Every part of me would be sweaty, but my short-shorts were dry in all the right places. There are a couple types, but if you go to a drug store, you can look through the bottles and figure out which one you should use.

A side-note. I’ve heard good things about using vinegar to clean things, especially fungal infections. I believe there are a few posts on the subject here. I would find ‘em for you, but I have to get to class. Good luck, and I know how you feel, I have the same problem.

Take it easy on the gold bond at first. It can really burn if you put too much on. I prefer baby powder for every day use because i don’t need to worry about discomfort from using too much, but in your case I would start with gold bond bc you may ahve some sort of fungus or something and it will take care of that for you most likely.

Use jock itch or athletes foot spray (same ingredients) on the area. Use it twice a day and in about a week youll be fine. I had a fungus type rash under one arm pit that would flare up if I was really sweaty, hydrocortisone creme got rid of the symptoms but not the fungus where as the jock itch/athletes foot spray got rid of the fungus. DO NOT use Capsasin creme, it will burn the shit out of you.

Also, what kind of soap do you use to wash yourself? Using abrasive soaps or anti-bacterial wash may be aggravating the problem because they kill off the fauna that helps to regulate things. It seems counterintuitive but a really good scrubbing with the wrong kind of soap will make your stink worse!

Wash everyday and *especially* after any kind of sex. I kind of had a simlar problem a few years ago but now that I clean myself regularly I am fine now.

This Gold Bond. I can buy this in any pharmacy right?
