After realising that there is no point me even putting any more time into getting a bigger dick when another problem needs sorting more urgently. So I started reading posts about delaying ejaculation. I understand the concept of clamping down before the fluids start moving during edging (discussed here), the thing I would like to know (especially of people who have managed to beat Premature Ejaculation) is what sort of daily Kegel routine do you do to achieve this?

I currently do 100 X 5 second Kegels a day and 100 quick pulses. And during edging I do not think that my BC muscle is strong enough at “clamping down” as I usually ejaculate and my BC muscle seems to often make things worse, my body takes over and it just goes crazy and pumps out the come.

So all you guys who were once a “two pump squirt” what are your Kegel routines to beat this awful affliction?

I will be doing a Edging routine similar to what xlhorsman describes here (post 15) but with an emphasis on clamping down on the BC.

Sorry for shouting out names in the thread title, but I would really appreciate advice from these guys as I have read posts about their experience and advice with combatting premature ejaculation.

I found that through intense jelqing came more staying power, as I had to train my mind and body to be able to cope with long periods of stimulation without ejaculating. And I’m getting a bit of a bigger dick while doing it :)

I got into Kegeling for reasons other than premature ejaculation which I only get when I haven’t had sex for awhile, like more than a week. I used to dribble and wanted to shoot again, and I got interested in learning how to have multiple orgasms, specifically “dry” ones to prolong but to end with a wet one.

Over maybe a month or two I worked up to doing about 400 quick-pulse Kegels. I remember I started at 25, then added 5 - 10 a day. When I could do 400 and not feel that my BC was stressed, I worked more on duration of the squeeze than on a goal of 400 Kegels/day. Can’t tell you why but I was working gradually toward being able to hold the Kegel squeeze for 20 seconds. This duration turned out to be good for me in getting though the “inevitibality” phase. Timing was everything, I learned. To prevent ejaculation you have to clamp at just the right millisecond, very firmly, and sustain the squeeze; to make it work you have to have a very good understanding of the sensations you experience leading up to when ejaculation “inevitability” kicks in for you. Edging can teach you that but be prepared to blow a whole lot of loads while you are learning. However, the practice is fun. If while learning you do have to blow the load, don’t feel bad about it, just go ahead and enjoy the sensations. There’s always later or tomorrow.

I did get fairly good at dry orgasms; can have two of those, but when I get toward the peak of a third one, I’m way too turned on and have to let go. Still, doing this made a significant different in how long I can last in sex.

And for sure the Kegel exercises increased ejaculation velocity over time. I will never be an Olympic shooter, but 6 - 8 inches is a whole lot of difference from my former dibble/ooze style.

A lot of ejaculatory control during sex (easier in masturbation) requires having a cooperative partner who understands what you are trying to learn. If you pause in your strokes to regain control and your partner keeps moving in spite of your signal, you are probably going to cum, like it or not.

Hey Melvin,

I never had a specific kegel routine and still don’t. What I do is kegel all day long whenever I can. I kegel while reading the morning paper, kegel on the drive to the gym, kegel on the drive home, kegel while taking a shower, kegel while brushing my teeth, kegel while talking on the phone with my accountant, kegel while watching a movie… in fact, I’m kegeling right now.

Basically do as much as you can when you can. There are times when I go too long, reach fatigue and can’t kegel anymore. When this happens, I usually only have to rest for a few hours before I can start back up. During all this kegeling I like to switch up my technique. Sometimes I do 50 short kegels, sometimes 10 of intermediate length (5-10 seconds) and sometimes I would hold one until I started to quiver and couldn’t hold it anymore, released, waited a few minutes, then maxed out again. Kegel, kegel, kegel. I can probably crush a small rock with my BC muscle now. :)

Of course I’ve slowed down a bit since the beginning, but I still try to do at least 30 cumulative minutes of kegeling a day, for conditioning purposes.

All that stuff about kegeling being said, I think this is the more important area to concentrate on. Try to remember that you are controlling everything that is happening in your body. You are in control of when you ejaculate. I really like the exercise idea presented in Maxtro’s post in Stubbs premature ejaculation thread. I would recommend giving that a go, being sure to concentrate on mentally controlling the delay rather than physically.

Also I think is different what you get from touching

alone, and having sex with a girl. Different things.

Thanks for all the responses guys, excellent advice as per usual. I have a quick update and a few questions:

Update:
I am sticking to my Kegeling routine and my daily Edging, some days are better than others as I can go a little longer without having to stop to clamp the BC muscle. I had sex with my GF twice last weekend on Saturday I managed about 10 minutes and I hadn’t masturbated until the day before, this was a big improvement for me. Then Sunday came and I must of come in the first five or six minutes, maybe I got too confident from the night before, but I also noticed my erection was not as strong as on Saturday (which leads me to question 3 below).

As a bonus though my distance of ejaculate has increased, which is excellent (until you have to clean up).

Questions:
1. During edging when about to peak, I clamp down on the BC muscle but often produced a small amount of sperm after the clamping (or kegel). Is this because I am clamping too late or because my BC muscle is not strong enough? Or both?

2. Is the kegel coming too late if you find that you are kegeling to control/prevent the orgasmic/prostatic contractions, that are usually associated with ejaculation?

3. Is erection quality/level related to how long you can last, i.e. if you are harder you feel you can last longer?

Is it actually sperm or just some pre-cum? I always have some pre-cum appear even when I’m not real close to orgasm, and then a little more when I actually hold off ejaculating. If it’s actual sperm (white color), then I suspect the problem is both of the things you mentioned. I anticipate when I’m about to ejaculate and clamp down really hard two or three before the contractions start up. Try starting a little earlier and of course keep kegeling away to improve the strength of your BC muscle.

2. Is the kegel coming too late if you find that you are kegeling to control/prevent the orgasmic/prostatic contractions, that are usually associated with ejaculation?

No, I still have the contractions, just not the ejaculation. If holding off prevented the contractions, I wouldn’t do it.

3. Is erection quality/level related to how long you can last, i.e. if you are harder you feel you can last longer?

It’s opposite of that for me, the harder I am, the faster I ejaculate. Although, the only reason I would not be rock hard is if I wasn’t into it at that moment for whatever reason. In that case, I wouldn’t ejaculate anyways. When I’m into, I’m always rock hard. Just keep working those kegels and you’ll improve in both areas.

Yeah definitely sperm! Guess I need to work on my BC muscle strength and the timing issue.

Hi Melvin, I would be one of the few that kegels did nothing for… In my case I did those exercises all the time and while they worked to stop the orgasm they did nothing to “prolong” it… I ended up clamping to stop an orgasm only to have to clamp again in a couple of seconds…

Do you guys think that there’s possibly a rythm in clamping so that the prevention [ of ejaculation ] could work more effectively. Or you simply just clamp till the sensation subsides?

Hey, I think that a good routine is to do medium Bc kegels
during the day. From time in time. And it’s also relaxing …
for the mind and the body. Really, i regret a lot of time I was not
doing them, they are the most important part maybe of PE!
Even during sex, I like to use them, with a medium force
(because too much is negative for me, couse it makes me
too hard) during the whole session. Like…30 sec. kegels, after
I go for one minute or two…after I repeat.

But for me it works good. I can have a rhythm in what I am doing,

There is an involuntary rhythm that goes on. I find that subconsciously I anticipate the spasm and clamp down right before it. It has improved with time and practice and now I don’t even notice it.

I have heard here on Thunder that reverse Kegels can really help with premature ejaculation. If you can stop with them how can you exercise to enhance the reverse Kegel.

Can you wear down the BC muscle by over Kegaling? What methods work the best?
