STD's and fingering

From what I understand, viruses do not penetrate your skin unless there is an open cut/wound. Is there a chance that you can contract an STD by fingering?

Nope.

Std? No. Stinky finger? Maybe. :)

It is hard for me to believe that there is no chance. So do you contract an STD from intercourse only because a virus can enter through the pee hole?

Keep in mind that stuff can accumulate under your nails. Wash the hands thoroughly. I once got pink eye after a date involving deflowering a girl’s anal virginity. I must have rubbed my eye before washing up.

You could say, she blinded me with science. :-)

There is only one std I am aware of that you can catch by fingering… and its Herpes. Skin to skin contact with an infected patch of skin and pow, you have it. Doesn’t need cuts or fluids… all though these really help. even sweat.

In the case of Herpes Gladatorum. You have a night with a herpes chick… she sits on your chest… you get a herpes patch on your chest… and a week later you wrestle some dude and your chest is ground into his knee (or his knee is ground into your chest because you suck at wrestling :p ) and pow.. you just spread herpes to a dude. :o

So yeah… you could damn well catch it on your hands…. or face for that matter. But unless you have open cuts or dirty fingernails I wouldn’t be too worried about stds getting into your system through your hands.

How about from licking when going down?

Neo that was going to be my next question haha. Anything that enters your stomach will be killed, but as with skin, if you have an open cut in your mouth than you can get it that way. Just my logic, not sure if it’s the reality.

The herpes will attach to any skin… especially nice soft lip and tongue tissue. :P

HSV can attach to your fingers put will not ‘penetrate’ these cells. The virus will release it’s genetic information when it comes in contact with receptors in your mouth or genital area.

There are different strains of herpes simplex virus (HSV1 and HSV2). HSV1 = colesaws, HSV2 = genital warts. Every single one of us has HSV1, you get it when your a baby. HSV1 itself integrates into your genome and is present in the nerve ending cells in the back of your mouth. Even scarier, HSV1 can be spread into the genital area as well (although this is rare). This means every chick you eat out could potentially give you herpes!

The reason why only some of never get colesaws is because of our immune system suppresses outbreaks of the virus (and hence warts). That is also why when the immune system is down (from say a cold), people tend to get colesaws.
