The rubber is very durable, it’s not even rubber. Tips for those who have it. If it is really tacky/sticky, when dry, throw talcum baby powder all over the sucker. Don’t be shy with the baby powder, cover the damn thing. Makes it non-tacky, and softer. Lasts for like ten washes too before having to reapply.
