Questions for Uncircumcised Men

Correction: It is good to keep it retracted.

Those who are not uncut and can not peel their head in the proper war should strech little by little the foreskin, and you will get it! Never is too late.

Jairobigp,

Thanks for your input, I am honored to have you post your first here on this thread.

Please tell me, at what age did you start to retract your foreskin? and were you told to do it or did you just do it on your own?

I was dreaming when I thought it couldn't done, but now I know I have work to do.

Some of what you have stated jibes well with what I have heard from his doctor with the exception of the “superglue” and smegma. I did mistakenly tell him to wash his glans about 1 year ago before the doctor advised against. He did not have pain from the superglue effect, nor has there been any sort of irritation. It was at that point in time though , when I realised I have no idea what to tell him about his foreskin.

Would you think a partial retraction during urination would be OK if there is not an accompanying pain from superglue?

I don’t think there should be any problem with that. The urination will be with a little more force and the stream will be more narrow.

I think that a seven year old, natural or cut, can be very messy urinating anyway. You may find that when he does retract a bit for urination it may make more of a mess than what he is already doing. There may even be that double stream that happens from the top and bottom of the meatus (glans opening). His foreskin will buffer the force allowing a smaller, thicker arc into the bowl. He may spill a few drops in the front of the bowl, but that should be all. Much better than getting it all over the walls. Heheh.

Just like any child, I would advise him to get all the pee into the target, and if he misses, grab a tissue and clean it up.

As far as desensitizing the penis. Well, I’m totally against that. Yes, men that are natural are more sensitive, but they can also have foreskin orgasms. The retracted foreskin in the erection state allows a fuller penis body orgasm. The glans will not be so sensitive when it is hard and wet. Just like a clitoris. Ask women and they will tell you that they don’t like direct stimulation on the clitoris unless it is erect, hard and wet.

Besides, he is too young for that anyway. Time for riding his bike, playing baseball and eating candy. (Probably the perfect age, eh?)

Excuse me Phantasm, did you really mean “a tissue” or mop and bucket?

A few days back my wife asked me to speak with him about accuracy, so I thought I’d gather a little info, then speak with him tonight. Thanks for the input.

In a few years I’ll ask other questions of you about the sexuality aspects of a foreskin. Right now, I just want to get age appropriate information to him.

Yes, he is a wild kid who loves soccer, his bike and anything that looks like trouble!

Exactly, not many people do and I despise those people.

Noodles,

But it is a miracle of modern medicine! We can lop off those body parts with no usefull function now.

Well, the foreskin has many useful functions. But that’s for another day.

If you really need a mop and bucket, well the kid is just like my neighbour’s kid many years ago. He was cut (and hates the gov’t for doing that now), his mom used to get really angry and call him a firehose, going all over. She scolded him real good.

Boys will be boys.

Reward him when he gets it all in. If not, make him clean it up, if he is mature enough.

I don’t despise those who are uncut. But the parents that circumcise their children when they’re too young to have a choice in it.

I agree. I was being a little sarcastic in the response to Noodles. I agree with Noodles in that circumcision should be a personal decision, not a parental one. I wouldn’t go as far as saying I “despise” those parents who have done it to their kids. After all, there are some religions that require it. Also, if the medical establishment (U.S.) treats it as routine and something you have to opt out of, then, over the years it just becomes normal - however abnormal it really is.

I just want o know what are the benefits to keeping the foreskin? Maybe if I given some reason for not cutting the foreskin then I will not have my sons (once I have one) removed. But I will until then be “despised”; because my reason is foolish religious beliefs and yes, my son will have to suffer customs of my belief.

There is always a risk of infection when you have surgery. Complications set in on two children who were circumcised at a well known hospital here in Atlanta. One had to have his gender changed. When I was born there was another child before me that was circumcised and had complications. My mother decided not to have me cut. Why take the risk?

That’s another thing that concerns me…
