Anyone have lots of tips on how to clear out the prostate or keep from getting inflamed? Massages? Supplements? Kegels? Keep sexual encounters to a minimum?

To keep it from getting inflamed, frequent ejaculation. Your prostate stays clear by keeping the fluids flowing, not static and stagnating. I’ve seen it suggested that you should drink enough fluids to urinate regularly. Most people don’t drink enough fluids.

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Are you having a specific problem? If so, you should see a urologist. Antibiotics are usually prescribed if you have an active prostate inflammation.

Massage? May squeeze some fluids out. Can be painful if done via the anus, which gives you the best access. Trying to do it via the perineum is difficult since the prostate sits above the inner penile structures.

Supplements? Don’t know which would do anything specific except saw palmetto and that tends to prevent benign prostatic hypertrophy which is not related to prostatitis. (http://www.drmi … m/men/1332.html )

Kegels? Kegels are contractions of the pelvic muscles, in men mostly the bulbocavernosus (also called bulbospongiosus). They do not directly affect the prostate.

Minimize sexual encounters? As Lampwick says, you should have more ejaculations, not less to help the prostate to remain healthy.

Well I’ve been to a uro they checked my urine not any prostate fluid/cum. I’d assume it to be related to that. I’ve tried tribulus before could that be related?

Related? I don’t understand the question. Do you have prostatitis? Was it diagnosed by a physician? Did s/he offer any treatment options?

Or do you have some vague symptoms that you assume are prostate related?

Prostatic fluids or semen are not usually tested when prostatitis is suspected, as far as I know (I’m not a physician).

Supplement

I went to a urologist many times, for the same problem. Prostate massages help, but the thing that pretty much alleviated my problem was a supplement called Quercetin. It is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-histamine. Works great for me I am almost completely symptom free.

If I run out and quit taking it for a few days the symptoms come back so for me it works.
