PE while having a herpes outbreak

PE while having a herpes outbreak

I apologize if there is a thread somewhere for this but I searched using multiple phrases and couldn’t find anything relevant. I have genital herpes and was wondering if anyone on here living with this does as far as PE’ing during an outbreak. Do you refrain from doing so and if so how long? For me I typically get a tingling feeling then I get some small sores the next day. They will blister and burst in about another day or so then I will have scabs for a few weeks. Any input will be greatly appreciated as far as details such as how long to break for and at what stages to continue. I really enjoy PE’ing it seems to enhance my sexual performance in many ways other than just slowly getting bigger and really don’t want to take long breaks from doing it if I don’t have to.

Unfortunately I can’t offer any advice specifically for the herpes.

What I can add is that any time my penis has cuts on it (I catch myself at least once every time I trim) I have no problems with PE although I do clean and dress each little nick appropriately after I’m done my PE session. I hope this helps, if even a little.

I would think you would spread it if you were jelqing.

Spreading or making the condition worse was a concern of mine but I was wondering if anyone had any input at which stage of infection would it be safer if any to continue jelqing again. Or if I should wait until the scabs completely fall off.

Thanks for that thread name for a search criteria. I had also found another link in that thread as well. The information I gathered has helped me in how I am going to go about this.
1. I am going to wait until my outbreak(s) are completely healed before starting to exercise.
2. As far as the theory of PE’ing contributing to more frequent outbreaks I am going to have to play that by ear.

I have been taking Valtrex 500mg daily for about a year and had 0 outbreaks while taking this. Prior to taking Valtrex I had anywhere from 4-6 outbreaks per year. My Doc keeps sending me to get blood work done to check my liver and kidney enzyme levels about every 4 months. I did some reading and found that this drug can cause liver and kidney problems. Although I don’t have any and probably don’t have anything to worry about I am young and don’t want to be on a drug for the rest of my life if there is a way I can naturally treat this. I also take propecia for hair loss 1mg daily which I don’t plan on stopping until I get older and no longer care about my hair falling out. The outbreak that I am currently having I am going to attribute it to the fact that I had stopped taking Valtrex about 4 days prior to my first symptom, that itchy tingling sensation in the groin area, and for some reason I have to urinate more frequently in a day up into the point that the blisters start to form. As far as treating this current outbreak I am just applying apple cider vinegar on it, followed by tea tree oil, followed by lemon balm cream. The blisters that had started to form are starting to shrink and look as if they might not burst and I have a feeling that I may not get any scabs from this (fingers crossed and knock on wood lol). I am also going to try some stress management and start taking L-Lysine supplements as well as garlic pills (I heard those help your immune system in general). Anyway I guess I am going to start logging exactly when I have an outbreak, try to scale it’s severity (mine are usually minor as far as lesions go they’re are usually only 1-4 of them close together and very small smaller than an average pimple). I hope PE’ing doesn’t trigger more episodes because I really like doing this. Thanks for the responses to this post and moving it to the proper forum. I hope this helps anyone else who has herpes. I will update this as well.

That looks like a sensible approach jay. Let us know how you go on; I’m sure the information is valuable to quite a few guys here.

Just a small point; please could you break your posts up into paragraphs. It makes them much better and easier for people to read. Thanks. :)

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

I am currently having an outbreak and while jelqing I think I burst a couple of scabs which have left a mark, and some pain when I touch it. At first I thought it was a PE injury but because the pain was such that I couldn’t jelq I waited a while. Then more scabs appeared which confirmed my fears. I hope that herpes don’t stop me from PE

Update on my situation.

It has been about six months since my last outbreak. I have been for the most part consistently taking 4000mg of vitamin C and 1000mg L-Lysine with the exception of missing a day here and there.

It has been six months since my last outbreak and about seven months since I took my last Valtrex pill. So far I have exceeded my “remission” period by two months from outbreaks. It may appear there could be something with L-Lysine and possible abilities to help in the reduction in herpes outbreaks. I had also read that vitamin C helps as well and is an over all healthy supplement to take in large doses.

My suggestion to anyone who is afflicted with herpes and doesn’t want or can’t be on a prescription medication to help suppress outbreaks try taking the supplements and dosages I stated above.

I just buy the cheap ones at Walmart and so far I am having good results naturally suppressing outbreaks. Heads up on the vitamin C you may want to start with 1000mg for a few days then 2000mg for a few days and build up to 4000mg as it can make you gassy and have lose stool if you are not used to taking larger amounts of vitamin C.

Also take note and be aware that you want to make sure you have no medical conditions that can be affected by these supplements and there is no actual scientific proof that either of these supplements work in suppressing herpes.

I can only state my personal results from this regimen and if I do get an outbreak I will post so as soon as it happens. Otherwise I will update this thread every three to four months stating I have not had an outbreak. I hope this helps anyone who reads it.
