Pain at bottom of the scrotum/testicles

Pain at bottom of the scrotum/testicles

So I’ve had this pain before but I am not sure what has caused it. It usually lasts for a few days. It is extremely uncomfortable. The bottom of my testicles and scrotum hurt when touched. I have pain in my entire genital area, inguinal area, pelvic area and even my lower stomach. I feel like I have to make a huge bowel movement. I also feel like muscularly I tore my abdominal wall or something. I know all these descriptions are sort of vague and strange but it is the best way I can describe it. I can’t think of any big changes in my day to day routine that could have caused it. I’m hoping it is not testicular torsion. If anyone has an idea of what this might be (obviously I’m not taking a forum members advice over a urologist) according to my description please let me know. I’m curious to know if anyone has experienced something similar. Thanks.

We wouldn’t be able to diagnose it. There are too many ways that pain can be referred there by problems elsewhere in the general area.

Get it looked it. You ought to get an annual testicular check up anyway.

Thanks avocet8. I think it was simply slight bruising of the testicles from them bouncing around or something. The pain is gone today.

It sounds a lot like a hernia. I had the same thing. Came and went for years. No lumps or abnormalities on the testes. No typical hernia “bulge”, but guess what, it was a hernia.

Big Dick McGee, did you get the hernia from PE? I have been PEing for about a year and have a pain right where I had hernia surgery many years back. I am worried that I may have “re-injured” my hernia somehow with PE. Any thoughts?

No, was preexisting.

I advise leaving your PC and going to the Docs pronto!

Better to be safe than sorry. Especially in these matters.

We men tend to wait too long for medical attention to our own hurt. If we catch things during the initial stages we can correct many of our illnesses and etc. I am glad that your talking openly about your condition and yes you do need to seek medical attention. I also would recommend that you start a personal examination of your self during a hot bath to check for abnormalities and sensitivities that may need attention. Also be open and honest with your Doc they have seen it all and more get your money worth out of them because they will definitely get theirs out of you.
