Just throwing in my two cents here, as someone who has had bouts with performance anxiety.

I was able to finally see my girlfriend this weekend for the first time in six months, and I knew she’d be wanting a fair amount of sex, as we’re both young and horny and all. I was somewhat dreading this, as I’ve had issues in the past with performance anxiety.

Anyway, if anyone has considered trying this KY Warming Liquid stuff I’ve seen advertised recently, I’d strongly urge you to give it a shot. I’m not sure any anxiety can withstand this stuff. It feels fantastic, and we had the best sex of our relationship so far.

Now, I suppose actually deciding to take the step and tell her about my anxiety issues, and having her understand and telling me not to worry about it helped, but even so, this stuff is great recreationally. If anyone else has experiences or comments to add, please do. Otherwise, again, give it a shot and see if the stuff helps you out too.

I sometimes put in on as a lotion before getting dressed, I find that the flaccid hang is better when I do this.

I hadn’t really considered that, I suppose the warmth would do that. It doesn’t irritate you or anything after being there for a few hours? I usually take a shower after sex, so I’ve never had the stuff on me for hours at a time.

What exactly is the KY warming liquid? Is it like ben gay? Does it cause your penis to feel warm or does it have a desensitizing agent or what?

That’s what it was made for and marketed as. No sportscreme use or anything, it’s purely for enhancing sex. It should be right next to the condoms. As far as I could tell, it doesn’t desensitize anything, it just gets warm with friction, so it makes sex warmer and all that, and it’s a great accessory for handjobs. Anyway, I don’t want to sound like I work for them or anything, I just discovered the stuff, and it worked. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.

I’ll give it a try, I too occasionally get performance anxiety especially when I haven’t been with someone for a while (which is more often than I like).

So do you think it was the warmth that helped with the performance anxiety?

Oh and I hope this doesn’t sound stupid but if you wear a condom I imagine the lubricant goes on the outside so can you still feel the warmth through the condom?

My girlfriend is on the pill, so I don’t know as far as condoms go. I think it helped me because basically, the warmth and feeling superceded any anxiety I was going to have. Talking to her and having her understand helped also, but after it worked the first time, it was all gravy from there. Sort of a reverse performance anxiety…you succeed once, and it’s not nearly as hard the next times.
