oh, Fuck. I have a Venous Leak- Invictus' thread

Invictus, don’t waist your time on another urologist, go straight to the interventional radiologist, when I saw him, I came with pictures that proves that there is something wrong, and told him about a friend I have that had it too and had a surgery to fix it.

Urologists don’t know how to fix the problem, they love prescribing Cialis \ Viagra.

Have you seen my operation?

OS- do you suggest I see my family doctor (I have my family doctor, a lady, and a new doctor for me, he is the one that made me aware to get this checked out) to find a good interventional radiologist? Or should I just book an appointment with a vascular doctor? Well, I really think I need my doctors opinion on which doctor to go for this, unless you can help me find one in this area. I’ll PM you my location etc.

I can’t watch the video for some reason. It downloaded fine, however.

Scratch that. Oh wow. What an incredible video. I’m not so sure what i’m looking at though, can you give me some tips, OS? Thanks.

Invictus, first, I will try to find a doctor in the locations you’ve mentioned in your PM, but I think you need to consult with your doctor and to tell him about the cases you’ve already learned about, (Yataghan50's , steinkill's and mine) we had “bad” meetings with urologists and as soon as we saw an Interventional radiologist, we found a treatment.

Your doctor can refer you to someone who is working with your insurance (and the insurance will pay for it) you need to go to the best you can, if you have a name, write it and we’ll look for advices about him in the Internet, most of the doctors are mentioned in the Internet for good or bad.

To tell you the truth, about the video, I’m not sure too :) the long black line is a very thin “pipe” (cannula) with a needle goes through the dorasel vein and the coils are being placed inside veins which are inside the fatpad, those are branches of veins that connects to the deep dorasel vein, and there are leaks that are hard to see with no special program that changes the light(brightness) of the picture. You can show the video to your doctor so he’ll know there is a treatment for it, you can also show it to the vascular surgeon, this will give him a good look about the procedure and the problem. (He will have no way to say that no one have done it nor he will claim that it cannot be done)

Ok guys, well I am going to make an appointment with my new doctor, and my old family doctor. I will ask them both for a good “interventional radiologist.” I checked online; is this a vein doctor, or artery doctor? Because I couldn’t find specifically, a “interventional radiologist.” I am going to tell them I think I have a venous leak and they will hopefully lead me to the doctor that will embolize the vein for me.

When you guys had venous leak, did you have a weak urine stream? Or you had to use the bathroom a lot? I haven’t told the doctors this but I have also been reading about an enlarged prostate, which I probably don’t have. Just wondering. Also I might add, I have been and still suffer from premature ejaculation all my life. Although this last year I have for the first time started to exercise my BC muscle and gain total control, I haven’t had sex to try to test it out. So I don’t know.

Also, the main big dorsal vein on my penis, I can actually push on it to the side and it will change position. I really don’t know which is its natural position, but I can move it at will.

Get at me!

Whomever you use as your surgeon, Invictus, make sure he/she has a lot of these procedures under his/her belt. Surgeons who have a lot of experience get much better long-term results. There is a high rate of recidivism in this surgery, particularly in older guys. Younger guys do better.

Also, get the venous leakage diagnosis confirmed through tests.

I went to my urologist today because I have a varicocele. From what I hear, he is one of the better urologists in Texas. He told me that you should steer clear of any one that says they can correct venous leak. From what he was saying most doctors thought it could be fixed in the 90’s and at the beginning of the decade, it has fallen out of fashion. So, I am interested to hear how everything continues to go for you.

and then? Update please!

How modest of you James! Actually, thanks to your post, I finally called and scheduled an appointment with my new doctor. This is the second time i’ll be seeing him. Hes just a family physician, but I am going to explain to him the venous leak issue as a whole, and the experiences of Yata, OS, and Steinkill. I will tell him about the Vein Embolization and the what kind of doctor can do such a thing, maybe a vein doctor. But first i’ll see if he can do a doppler sonogram there, so I make sure I have a leak. But nonetheless, I will still see the proper doctor based on his referral. Last time he suggested I see a urologist, but thats before I really went in depth about my issue. I can’t believe I thought this was some kind of ED or something.

Well, my appointment is for next week, so i’ll be compiling some info for him, sorting out what i’m going to say (as far as TP and previous experiences). Hopefully he can lead me to the right path.

Ok so here is the update:

I have an appointment on Friday, i’ll ask him to refer me to a vein doctor than can emobolize this bad boy.

I forgot to add some more symptoms:

On the top of my dick I can clearly, visibly see my Dorsal vein (its called Superficial Dorsal Vein) and Deep Dorsal Vein (the one under it). These are the two big Dorsal veins. The DDV is right under the Superficial Dorsal Vein, the one most people talk about. Now here is the thing. When I have an erection, I can like, change the position of the top dorsal vein. I can literally push it over the right side, over the DDV. I then I can push it back. Its really crazy. Also, they feel like stringy/rubbery and are VERY visible and big.

Another thing, is when I will get an erection, and not all the time, but like when I am watching TV and i’ll see a hot girl and start to get an erection, I can like literally feel the blood leaking out. What I mean by this is, I feel like a faucet spout thats like squirting. Instead of being smooth process, like a gradual erection, I can feel like the blood pump and pump but like leak out a little bit. This is hard to understand. Think of it like this: Instead of blowing a balloon with one long, smooth breath, instead, for me, its like you take a big breath and rapidly blow and stop, blow and stop. I think this is a good sign something is wrong.

Any feedback? Thanks. Appt on Friday. Money is not an issue since I have good insurance.

I can do the same. When you have large and prominent vessels, this is not abnormal.

Me Too !

Invictus. I also have a leaky dick and must use a cock ring. Both of my dorsal veins always show when I am erect….one lies slightly to the side of the other. And I know what you mean about feeling your dick leak. When this happens to Spike, it is an intermitant “buzzing” sensation. Hope the doctor can help you, buddy. MXL

I hope he can too. I am going to have him refer me to two doctors, an interventional radiologist, and a vein doctor. See what both say. But yea, my dick feels like, if you know those red gasoline containers, used to fill up lawn equipment and lawnmowers- you know how you need to open the little top valve to release the air pressure so that the liquid pours smoothe? If you don’t it like splurges out, if you will. My dick feels like this in reverse. Hard to explain.

Ok, so I talked to my doc, he referred me to an interventional radiologist (in a big hospital), but he admitted that he hadn’t really heard of this issue being dealt with by an interventional radiologist, but we kind of both agreed that this isn’t a common problem, and its a newer procedure. He also gave me a referral to a vascular surgeon (his idea that I should go to HIM, instead of an interventional radiologist). So I am going to go see both. I am kind of intimidated to go to the hospital period, but more to get my dick go under the doppler sonogram or whatever other tests he might give me.

My BP is also kind of high, so he had to give me medicine. But only reason its high is due to this immense stress I am dealing with because of this issue. It fucking sucks.

Hi mate,

It seems like your going in the right path, If your interventional radiologist want, he can talk to my doctor, I will ask my doctor for approval to give him his phone number in the clinic he runs in the hospital so he can explain to him exactly what he did, there is a good chance that they know each other, there are a lot of conventions of interventional radiology and I think that they probably met or know each other, they are both hospital stuff so they can help each other in the frame of their hospitals (they are obligated by law I think)

You can also give him a link to the video I gave in TP, you saw it, it will give him a good point of view on what I had, don’t be a shame to show him threads about venous leak from TP,
I have a venous leak, I’m going to have it fixed by an interventional radiologist.
When erect my head isn’t that full need a little help.

Those threads sums up every thing I’ve been through there are links to Yataghan50’s thread and pictures (pre and after surgery)

You basically have the procedure on video so he’ll see that it’s something that he can do.
And who knows, maybe he did a procedure like it or heared about one.

I wish you the best of luck, I hope that everything will go well for you, please let us know and update us.

P.s you can show him the difference in your erect glans with and with out a cockring, ask him for a caverject injection (PGE-1) and a pill of Levitra \ Viagra this is what my soergon done for me so I got a really good erection, that he did a color doppler examine and he asked me to kegel blood, he found the leak, and under the sonar he found another leak.
