On the ejaculation issue, personally I am ejaculating about once a week to “clean out the pipes” — I’m middle-aged, younger guys probably need to ejaculate more often than that.

Just interested, you say you are ejaculating only once per week, how many times are you edging / sexing? per week.

I am about to grab maybe this book and the Mantak Chia one from Amazon. Are these good books? Do I need anything else? I am to the point where I think only multiple orgasms will cure my premature ejaculation problem.

Approximately how long, do you estimate, it takes a person to learn these things? I know each person and each situation is different. But a rough estimation is fine, is it a few weeks, few months, a year?

I am working on a new theory, but have to do more -ahem- testing. Problem is I only cum once a month, so I will have to wait for my due date. I am thinking of making that day a free-for-all, and cumming as may times as I can on that day only, simply to test my theory. “What is my theory?”, you may well ask.

I believe that orgasm in the male (it may be similar in women, but I can only speculate), may simply be nothing more than a spasm triggered by tension in and around the muscles and tissues surrounding the prostate, and other “gubbins” in that area. My idea is that, as stimulation proceeds the tension builds up until the body/mind mechanism thinks “that’s it, I can’t take any more PLEASURE, I’m gona blow” - and then you cum.

So in my case I am attempting to re-wire my responses, so that I CAN take more pleasure - without it all coming to a sticky end. I believe it might be possible to go on indefinitely, with the pleasure/arousal level building up higher and higher. Only exhaustion, will be the final show stopper.

So how does all this theory help guys with Premature Ejaculation?
Simple. You need to get more relaxed. Period. Not just between the legs, but in general. Slow down, chill out, cut out the drugs, the beers, the smoking - just let it all go it’s actually a huge effort to do all that shit.

At least half an hour before sex, get peaceful, don’t drink any stimulants, and don’t eat junk. Take time to get properly aroused. The more you can feel, the more you can monitor the situation. Guys that come really really quick - I have read about guys who cum in 30 secs or even immediately on entry - they are not even passing properly through the classic Masters and Johnson phases of sexual response. Lets enumerate them - they may not be the be-all-and-end-all, but they are widely accepted.

1)Arousal
2)Plateau
3)Orgasm
4)Resolution

Instead they are going straight to orgasm after a very short arousal phase. These people are in a hurry - so was I many years ago.

If you can lengthen any of the first 3 phases, you are onto a winner. People with P.E. think it is hard to master because, ever time they have sex, the same thing happens. But if we look a little closer, we find out that the same thing happens, because, they keep setting it up the same way every time. So basically it is very easy to change, it just takes a bit of knowledge, and a bit of commitment. Anyone can master it.

sta-Kool, that’s cool. I could never go back to normal sex now. I do agree that the retention thing is probably not so suitable for young guys, although a bit of edging might be fun, as is experimenting with not cuming every time. Also young guys have more seed than they now what to do with. At my age semen retention is like a new lease of life, I can keep up with any 18 Y/O, as long as I am not required to cum. It’s like trading in your zimmer frame for a Porche!

In The Multiorgasmic Man book, they reference Sun Ssu-miao’s “formula” and then give some really good advice — I bolded where it starts:

your genitals, multi’s are whole-body orgasms.”

Sun Ssu-miao, who lived to 101, ejaculated only after making love one hundred times. But rather than adhering to any
rigid numerical formula, you should try to pay attention to your body.
If you are exhausted or sick, drunk or stuffed with
food, you should avoid ejaculating. If you are working hard you will want to conserve your semen, but if you are on
vacation you may wish to ejaculate a little more often. The ancient Taoists, who lived close to nature, also believed that
just as plants and animals conserve their energy in winter, so should people. Besides the seasons, there are other
rhythms that will determine the number of times you ejaculate. If you are trying to conceive a child, you will need to
ejaculate whenever your partner is ovulating.

In general, when you ejaculate you should feel refreshed and energetic. If ejaculating leaves you feeling empty,
depressed, or exhausted, you need to increase the amount of time between ejaculations or avoid ejaculating altogether
until you build up your sexual energy. When you do ejaculate, you can conserve some semen and sexual energy by
approaching the point of no return slowly rather than thrusting vigorously to a climax. After you ejaculate, you can also
practice PC contractions to tighten your pelvic muscles and reduce the amount of energy that typically leaks out after
ejaculation.

At the same time it is important not to become obsessive about non-ejaculation and not to give yourself a hard time
when you do ejaculate. As Michael Winn explains, “It is very important not to be fanatical about non-ejaculation. A lot of
men who learn about Sexual Kung Fu think, ‘Wow, this is great. It makes sense. I want to do it.’ And then they have a
problem controlling their ejaculation. And then they start passing judgment on themselves and feeling guilty. They are
missing the point, which is not even whether you ejaculate or not, but whether you are able to recycle some of the sexual
energy up through your body before you ejaculate. Obviously, the longer you can delay your ejaculation, the greater your
opportunity to cultivate this energy for creative and spiritual growth. If you need to ejaculate and it’s coming and you
can’t sop i, just go for it. Don’t beat yourself up. Because what is really imporant ultimately is not just the energy in the
sperm, but the overall love between you and your partner.”

Remember that the energy is more than just the sperm; if you are able to draw any energy out of the sperm, you are far
ahead of where you were before you started, in terms both of the level of pleasure you will be able to experience and of
the energy you will be able to circulate for your health. True sexual satisfaction comes from both pleasure and health.

Great thread. One question though, I’ve been kegeling on and off for some time, and after experimenting a little, I just realized I’m not really sure I’m doing an actual kegel, and that perhaps my idea of a kegel is actually a reverse kegel. I really don’t know. I feel the muscle mass (hopefully the PC)bulge outwards in my perineum as I do them, and it seems like it’s the same muscle I use when I’m done urinating and have to squeeze those last few ounces out. It’s this fact that makes me think I’m doing a reverse kegel. Any thoughts?
