Long term soreness

Long term soreness

Hey Thunders,

Unfortunately due to my low post count, I have to post this here rather than in the injury forum. Hopefully someone will move it accordingly.

I’ve spent some time looking around on Thunders to see if anyone had experienced what I had, but I have been unable to find it. Posting on medical forums hasn’t helped me either, so hopefully I get some useful responses here.

I started dry jelqing (I’m uncircumcised) and stretching back in February 2009 and continued for five months or so, mainly with the newbie routine (I may have upped the number of jelqs a bit). I stopped at that point because it seemed like I was perpetually sore, regardless of the amount of days I took off from the ‘exercises’. I haven’t done any exercises since then and it has been about 3 months, yet I still have this soreness in my glans and shaft (usually just sore to the touch). My glans is red most of the time. Sex has become far less pleasurable on a couple of fronts: blow jobs can be painful, sex is painful at the point of ejaculation, and it seems like I’m more sensitive than I used to be - I.e. I don’t last as long as I used to.

Thus my question is - has anyone else on Thunder’s experienced anything remotely similar to what I described above? And if so, are there any remedies? Should I just bite the bullet and go to a urologist?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I sure as hell would, especially if it has already been 3 months with no improvement. Sorry I don’t have any experiential advice for you, I just know that I would want an experts opinion if I were you. Hope everything works out mate.

Thanks for the concern, in any case.

You may have got an infection from perhaps a small tear in your skin. from jelqing.

As a first step you could try an antiseptic cream or lotion or something like polividone iodée (providing you are not allergic to iodine)

If not then see the urologist or doctor You can always say you nicked it with the zip fly.
