Kegel - the secret revealed

Kegel is really performed by this IC which is close to the pubis: a little bit behind and under it - and attaches to the dorsal part of the penis.

Try to focus on the lines that go from half way from the pubis to Your hips. From this 2 lateral points try to connect then in the linear contraction towards the pubis. Is that clear a bit?

Ok, but pelvis is complex - it’s not a banana to tell you how to use it. You have to focus and know what are you doing and IF you are doing things correctly. It’s something new to learn - all this control.

You can perform push-ups or arm flex to exercise your body parts - but it is easy - you use them with attention every day. During sex - You rather concentrate on sex - that’s why many man die without even knowing about muscles they can use to control ejaculation and erection.

But don’t worry - pictures and exercises will come.

It reminds me of the old time exercise of hanging a cloth off your erection and lifting it up and down. I have always found that my erection fades rapidly with kegels…so maybe the old timers were on to something with the towel thing, in that it would have to strength the dorsal side muscles to lift well.

It was said that old men could lift a wet bath towel and they had amazing sexual abilities as a result…thats why this thread caught my attention. If Matt is correct, this may be a real key!

Yes it is. And I also You are right with the cloth. That may be useful, because I have an idea..

Look guys - kegel make your penis move up and down. The cloth is something to resist against. When you go to gym, you also take weights - to increase the mass and strength of muscles.

Some of you may say it’s obvious but:

Take a stick in one hand. If you move your hand up, the stick goes up.

But put the stick on a little rock on the ground and let the rock be under the central point of the stick. Now, if you want to move up one end, you have to push down the other.
That’s why I believe that not only performing the movement, but also understanding it and the anatomy is the key.

And sparkyx - I believe you were doing this “hold-urine” BC squeeze. Notice that kegel (IC) is to make your erection stronger - that’s why the cloth is a good idea because the resistance helps you to keep the resistance and increases your erection.

This thread makes me feel stupid. This has been explained so much, so much effort has gone into explaining it for me and other people who don’t understand it, and I still don’t know what I’m supposed to do exactly.

I far as I am aware. You simply do a normal kegel. But in order to isolate the muscles at the front(either side of the base of the penis), you have to build the contraction slowly(so start with a very gradual contaction and then build it up for maybe 5 seconds to a strong one).

While you build up the contraction, focus your attention around the base of your penis(just behind/under the base)- you want to feel the tension here. I try not to contract the muscles further back like at the anus, as this brings the feeling away from the base, which isn’t good.

That is all I know; of course, it’s totally anecdotal.

I’m not certain what it will help, just that it’s an effective way to isolate the muscles close to the shaft base, the ones this thread alludes to.

I was practicing this yesterday. I think for a long time, when I kegel, I was contracting a whole bunch of different muscles in the area.

Yesterday, I started to feel contraction on the top of the penis at the base,and seemed to be able to isolate this area.

I pulled my dick down slightly, down and out, and then placed my finger tip at where the top of the penis attaches to my pelvis, and tried to contract the muscles there. I was able to isolate it.

Matt, is that what you are talking about, contracting the muscles right there?

I’m having trouble understanding Matt356’s message. I understand what manof10 is saying about focusing the contraction of the muscle closer towards the pubic bone (since the PC is a sling from pubis to coccyx). But it seems Matt is talking about pushing out and he mentions what seems to be the inguinal ridge, the “money maker”. That’s the line that goes from your hips to your junk and can only be seen on people (men mostly) who are really lean.
