How can I know if my BC muscle is tense? Any way to know it?

Do a reverse kegel and see what happens in the space were your bc muscle is located.If its tense then a rev. kegel will relax it and you will notice.
The cure then is to hold a slight reverse kegel or/and to reverse kegel whenever the bc muscle is tense.
Many automaticly engage the bc muscle(kegel) when starting sex or masturbation.

You might be confused cause you are not aware of your muscles and actions down there.
Stay on trying and exercising for some days and weeks and you will notice completely different awareness.

(bc muscle)Its basicly the muscle that holds when you stop/hold pee. The rev. kegel is basicly the action that pushes pee.

I did it but I can’t notice if it’s tense or relaxed. Very difficult. I think my weak erections come from another problem, something related to a lack of something. But know knows.

Mostly flaccid during the day at work. But its early days. Awesome to hear the levels you have achieved with these. Something ill aim for. I will focus on strengthening/evening up my weak side first. I like your suggestion of a pull to the left. I’ll be trying that.

For those that are having trouble contracting or isolating, I only use a mental cue. I visualize a red dot, like the laser target on a rifle, on the point I want to contract. For me the right side on the top at the base of my shaft. Then its kind of like lifting your nut sack. Its a place to start then work towards fine tuning it like the more experienced guys here. Hope that helps.

How did you do the contractions. Just flaccid?

Pulling to the left and engaging the right side IC might make sense in your case.

Done reverse Kegels today for the first time , 4 sets , 15 reps . Afterwards I couldn`t believe the size of my flaccid girth , way bigger .

I do Kegels routine normally for years for urinary incontinence and erections problems what you describe about as stupid argument because according to your belief I should be able to have a dick so large that I could drag it on the floor.

I think you just horny that day and look at it differently.

Guys come to the gym and some of them have erected penises that erection is not natural nor the flaccid b is because my son is 19 and I am 60 basically our flaccids are the same but my son edges me out slightly however bears no relationship between flaccid and erected penises

WTF , that makes no sense !

So if my understanding is correct if I concentrate on working on lifting my testicles that is an IC contraction and if I work on doing that it should improve my erections much like kegels?

Yes you are basicly right!!

If at the same time the BC muscle is not engaged. The BC muscles works more on the underside of the penis. but kind of lifts the testicles too.
The testicle lift of the IC muscle is more intense and it works more on/from the sides and top.
One could say that if you pee, and your testicles are moving up as you engage the IC muscle, and the pee flow doesnt stop you are right. If the flow stops you engaged the BC muscles.
I hope this doesnt confuse more.

It will improve erections. It will also improve imbalances as throough the Pc muscle(bc muscle) trainign advocated everywhere many have developed unbalanced pelvic floor. thus doing only/exclusivly IC muscle training for along time is probably also not good

Thank you for your reply. It didn’t confuse me more. I like others seem to get only one side testicle moving up for now. It took a moment of concentration for me but I can do it now sorta easily but could not at first, so anybody else don’t get discouraged. I got PE and get pretty hard but I don’t get much lift to my erections if that makes sense regardless of how many kegels I did so hopefully I can improve or even those two issues with these.

Yes there is also often an imbalance with the sides as IC muscle is basicly two muscles.
You can try different positions like lying on the side etc.

You will get more and more aware of it. At the beginning when you try too often you will make it tired and you might loose the control. Then just start again next day.

One way to train the “lift” is to pull down an errection towards the sides and try to move it back to the middle by engaging the IC muscles.

Bp tony, Matt isnt here anymore I think. You have to read the last 3 pages where are some abstracts. Looking at several anatmony pictures from different vantage points might help to visualize.

BPtony, I found laying down, pants less and as relaxed as possible first helped me the most. For me it was like a reverse kegel where it took time to see movement. I think the most important thing is the emphasis on mind /body connection to gain control and being relaxed really seems to help. It takes time and wasn’t instant for me. Just a few days though.

Another thing that has been helping me is when I try to contract, I’m going easy. This may not work for some, but I find if it I go slow I can raise my weaker side easier and if I contract hard I tend to mostly focus on my dominate side taking over.
