I’ve always heard about jelqing being bad for your nerves and eventually leading to erection problems. Erectile dysfunction runs in my family so by jelqing am I just going to be doomed later. Will the pinch pull method be better then the Ok grip.

If I should consider not jelqing anymore what would the next safe PE method be, hanging with weights does not seem much safer. I’m not sure what to believe and if I should stop jelqing. Nothing is wrong with my erections now but I’m worried about the future.

Jelqing in 50-60% erect shouldn’t lead to injury if You aren’t choking the penis.

Try different grips (U, C, OK overhand and underhand, pinch) and see which feels the best and which gives the best PI’s. You decide to jelq or not to jelq.

Frankly, I think jelqing with some practice “in hand” is the best PE exercise.

I am probably one of the most senior members here. I came across PE 13 months ago. Several positive things which have been experienced have been listed in my Progress and Routine thread. Among them are improved morning wood and EQ. Right now I am concentrating on manual stretches, Kegels and jelqs. The jelqs which are done are carried out at a rather low erection level.

It has been observed that erection level has a tendency to increase when jelqing, although never rising much above about 75%.

When edging I am able to maintain an erection any where from 10 to 40 minutes depending on how recently an ejaculation has been experienced. It has been observed that there are time when my resolution time is only a matter of several hours.

I have been a firm believer in the old adage, “Use it or loose it.”

Jelqing’s effect on my EQ has been nothing less than startling, miraculous, and welcomed.

No, the frankness is welcomed.

I’m 53 and concerned recently about EQ at night. My morning wood is bordering on miraculous and its to the point where my wife has told me to understand her need to sleep occasionally.

I think the hanging three twenty minute sessions a day is a factor though, and may have to go the way of the porn.


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.
