I've Got Swimmers Baby!!!

As many of you know, I am an older dude at 40 yrs old.

I made a hasty decision to have a vasectomy in the spring of 2007. Well, last August, I had a vasectomy reversal procedure.

I went to the urologists office today, with a semen sample. The nurse looked under the microscope and saw lots of swimming sperm.

Not being potent had a very negative effect on my psyche for some reason. Needless to say, I am super happy to have them back!!! Oh yeah! :buttrock:

After our last child, my wife got worried about being on the pill. (the dangers of continued use) I thought, at the time, that our 3 kids were enough, and my wife and I both didn’t want another baby so close to the birth of our third.

In hindsight, it was a hasty decision that we both regret. (we did make it together). Unfortunately, after the vasectomy, we both started diving into our individual activities “full stop”. (for those in the UK and Australia :) )

Somehow, my worth as a man, was subconsciously impacted by not being potent anymore. I am potent now. That is behind both of us. So, on with whatever life holds!!

Are you planning on having kids?

It seems that a lot of people who have vasectomies always regret it almost immediately afterwards. If I don’t want to have kids if I get married, I’ll just get my wife to get that Mirena thingy that is completely reversable :P

Why did it have a negative effect on yourself if you don’t mind me asking? Reason I’m asking is my dad had this done a few years back, and no ones aloud to even bring the subject up anymore without getting are heads tore off!
