It has been said that coffee is not good for EQ. But how bad is it really?

Please discuss! :D

I really don`t have many vices that can depress my EQ (rarely drink, eat healthy, workout and don`t smoke), but I do drink a lot of coffee.

However, I probably drink thrice as much water during a day, so I hope that helps balancing the negative effects of coffee (hey, there are lots of good ones also!)

Considering that my EQ has not been top notch lately, I should perhaps slow down the intake some, but I`m curious if it really has any significant effects at all.

Interested in your experiences and opinions.

I don’t think coffee or caffeine are bad for EQ.

I also don`t know of any scientific references (hence my questions), but I have seen it thrown around many times on this forum so I thought a clarification would be appropriate.

I drink 3-5 cups a day and have never experienced any effects regarding my PE program.

Instead of masturbating to EQ like the rest of the penis cult, instead look at the whole body circulation. What a fucking novel concept to the Brainiacs. Start small, start simple, & look at electrolytes. The absolute most overlooked mineral is magnesium. Conventional allopathic wisdom (snicker) is that one can’t be deficient in magnesium. Wish in one hand, shit in the other, see which fills first but please prescribe me some medicine that is unavailable as a generic first.;) Coffee, caffeine, soda (the phosphates), sugar, etc…. all contribute to vascular issues. Vascular issues means your dick too!

If you are going to drink coffee, do so in moderation. I attempt to limit myself to three cups a day down from my previous 10. I supplemented trans-dermal magnesium and ate way better. I lost weight, feel better, everyone tells me I look way better, etc….. Every cup of coffee you drink, try and drink two glasses of water to balance in addition to a good water intake. I am less beat tired so I require less coffee now.

Magnesium is a great muscle relaxant but take too much and you might wake in the middle of the night to find you pissed the bed, or worse; shit yourself.

It will affect the taste but I’m not sure about other factors.

I switched from coffee to straight green tea (nothing added) about 6 years ago and have never looked back. I still get the buzz/kick from green tea and don’t feel the drop in energy later in the day as the caffeine (and sugar) wears off (in coffee).

Antioxidant levels are higher in green tea but you can now get ‘green’ coffee that has equal or greater amounts of antioxidants than tea. But apparently antioxidant supplements (things that aren’t in food/drinks naturally) is a bad thing. Go figure.

Kind of like drink too much water and you fuck yourself up. Magnesium orally does me dirty, I have ulcerative colitis, so transdermally works wonders.
