Today I did my clamping/edging routine. It was an alright workout but not the best I’ve ever had. By the end though, I felt like I had to cum, once again. This ruins the workout imo.

From the time I was about 18, to the present day (I’m 20 now) I’ve been getting sex on a regular basis. I’ve had a girlfriend for a year now, and before her I was getting laid pretty regular as well. The problem is that before that I never got laid much at all. It was very rare for me back in my younger days. I’ve just really matured and come in to my own since then.

Masturbation was an everyday thing for me when I was younger. Usually more then once a day. I’ve cut that out, but I still do it a few times a week, when I don’t really need to. Sex with my girlfriend is enough. Plus from letting loose so much, it takes more to get me aroused to edge or clamp. I need either porn or deep mental visualization, and then constant stimulation once it’s going on.

So to cure this I am promising myself that I’ll abstain from ejaculating, unless it’s from sex. No more cum hindering my gains. No more porn addiction. This could be my New Year’s resolution, but I want it to start right now. It’s felt like a burden to me for a very long time.

Anyone who’s had similar problems, your comments are welcomed and encouraged.

Good luck with it. I should do the same, I shrink all up and feel like I’m over training when I masturbate but I don’t get that from sex or a blow job. I’m just to horny though. I masturbate about 1 time per day, have sex probably 5 to 6 times per week and get head almost everyday too. Before anyone asks I’m not 18, I’m 28. Maybe I should just break out my fleshlight when I want to masturbate.

That gives me a good idea to use the flesh light when I clamp.

I’m just the opposite, if I masturbate after a workout, my hang is massive. To add though, I’m sure my workouts aren’t nearly as intense as yours; I do light workouts.

As I understand it, not every one agrees that ejaculating after PE “hinders” gains. I have read many threads where members said they gained regardless of ejaculation.

What makes you so sure that ejaculation hinders you? I am a newbie so this is a serious question. Thanks!

What happens if you masterbate right before PE and what happens if you masterbate right after PE.

If you do it before you’re more likely not to want to do your whole routine. Your body will be satisfied that you’ve gotten off and may not cooperate with the things you want to do in your routine. You may be mentally “done” and not want to play with your dick any more that day. You’d have to clean up your mess before you start your exercises.

If you do it after PE you can look at it as a reward for finishing all your exercises. You will have had the strength and stamina to do your exercises that you might not have if you pulled your pud for pleasure first. You can wipe off the stuff you jelq with (Vaseline?) and your spooge at the same time.

3.) Masterbating won't affect stretching but it will affect Jelqing?

Yes. Since jelqing requires you to be semi erect masturbating before jelqing can put you into that refractory period after ejaculation where you cannot become erect. It could delay or prevent you getting hard enough to have a good jelq session.

PS - If you’re going to do it, learn to spell it correctly: masturbate.

Masturbation and porn decrease my EQ and morning wood. I’ve found when I’ve gone even just a couple of days without masturbating or watching porn my EQ sky rockets and my morning wood feels like a steel rod sticking out of my abdomen. Suffice to say it wakes me up in the morning, and is a little irritating when I’m trying to sleep in.

But I don’t think ejaculation hinders gains, at least not for me. Back when I was 18 and PEing on a regular basis I would ejaculate at the end of my workout, every time. I don’t know how much I gained but my GF asked me that wonderful question, “Have you gotten bigger?” So, IMO, masturbation and ejaculation do not hinder gains.

But at the same time as I was saying for me masturbation and pornography decreases my EQ. As much as I love them both, pornography and masturbation have really hindered my sexual performance. I have some premature ejaculation issues (not too bad, but coming before you want to is pretty much premature ejaculation, right?) and I would love to be as rock hard for my GF as I was those couple days I didn’t masturbate or watch porn.

But I feel if I don’t masturbate then I’ll just cum faster when my GF and I have sex. Personally that’s why I like kegels and edging, to help me build stamina and EQ, but I have the same problem, after edging I always have the urge to cum. I guess it’s a willpower thing. Something I don’t have much of.

Your penis gets used to being choked to death with a strong hand grip. And then it doesn’t respond so well to the more subtle stimulation that your girlfriend’s body gives you.

That’s why for the most part I try to masturbate with a Fleshlight. (No I do not work for them and I am not a spambot!). It is a much subtler sensation, closer to real sex, and over time you are able to “re-sensitize” yourself.

It may be a psychological thing as well as physiological because even though I may be desensitized from masturbating if a woman is that hot enough for I am still at attention and ready. That is actually my new years resolution as well to try and abstain from masturbation. I pretty much have willpower which I believe this always boils down to when it comes to P.E. But then again everybody responds differently to masturbation and P.E. I myself believe that if I don’t masturbate right after edging and clamping I am more aggressive (not too much), more alert and just overall more “manly” and “at attention” if that makes any sense. I feel many of the same things you are describing here. I do feel like I have more manly if I don’t cum after clamping and edging. I’ve thought about this and imo, I think this is 90% mental and maybe 10% depletion of testosterone.

Couldn’t agree more. In the few days since I’ve been doing this my EQ has been better then it has been in a long time. Also, the last couple of mornings I’ve had wood, which I haven’t had in quite a while. (I’m only 20 so that was very unsettling to me)

I believe everyone’s bodies are different. Constant masturbation could be good and healthy for one person, and then for a person like me it could make my penis feel worn out and over-used.

And what you said in your last post I definitely feel is true. About gripping too hard while masturbating. That makes it hard for me to keep an erection when I’m inside of a soft vagina. Your penis definitely gets used a tight grip and becomes less sensitive.

It’s just like PEing too hard. If you get used to very intense exercises eventually they may stop working for you.

What you’re saying makes a lot of sense, actually. Do you have to always use lube with the fleshlight? The thing is I tend to not want to deal with a big mess to clean up afterwards, and lube tends to just present more work. I’m pretty lazy after masturbating, so cleaning up doesn’t sound too appealing to me. However, it is Christmas time and I think I do owe myself a present… ;)

Yes, you always do need lube, like Astroglide or Wet.

However clean-up is not a big deal — just run clean water thru the fleshlight insert with the faucet in the bathroom sink for about a minute or two or three. Shake the water out, and stick it somewhere to air-dry (example: your bottom dresser drawer wrapped up in a t-shirt).

I debated about getting one for a long time, and regret the time I wasted procrastinating.
